The most insidious of rules are those that aren't rules at all. They are the limitations that we invent for ourselves

Rooky, mate ... I feel for you.
You were fkin woeful tonight, and if Glenn Johnson could hit a cows arse with a banjo, you would be even further in the shit.
Your only hope is to fluke 3 points and hope Hull dont pick up another point and get thumped a few times to keep you up on goal difference.
I would rather see the barcodes in the prem than Hull, so fingers crossed for ya.

Thought it'd be a draw tonight. Still waiting for the odds to shorten before i start laying toon to be relegated. Owen and Martins wasted good chances tonight. Smith looks up for the fight.

I think a defeat last nigth might have been kinder! I dont know where the performances would come from, but if we could get a couple of home results it might be enough! The game against M'boro is obviously a must must win. A draw would probably send us both down. I thought Pompy rightly came thinking a draw would keep them up and when we had the ball they sat back knowing we would struggle to break them down - the benefits of having an organised and hardwroking 11 I guess! they then hit us a few times on the counter.
The M'boro game should be massively open, which scares the bejesus out of me, but I do believe that we have more quality than them - we just could do with showing it on the run in.
For what its worth I thought the selection last night was strange, smith butt and duff as a three really doesnt make sense to me. someone needs to let the world know that a strker that doesnt score goals is not a midfielder, they are just shit strikers! Anyway there was a huge creativity gap last night, Crying out for Jonas... then when he came on he looked awful and put no running in at all. Worrying. Besides, there really is no point in a tactics debate, hard graft and some clinical finishing will be what saves, or not, us from the drop.
I'm in a strange position in that with a move to London I'll be getting to two or three home games next season. There are however more London teams in the PL than Championship I guess. There are for more long suffering NUFc fans than me. All I want is a club to be proud of.
Oh well, I'll be doing miles 38 to 74 on Sunday so I wont have to watch or listen to our regular Anfield beating. I'd love it if we could pull out a 3-4 though, love it.
