Boro will win tonight. They are a must bet at 4.3+.
I dont want them to, im just pretty sure they will.
GL nonetheless Newc fans.
Hope you didn't lose to much,it's strange to see that a fan of a proper football club such as leeds and as it seems a proper fan of football in general would want to see us stay up yet so many want to see us fall i don't understand it,i guess it's because we expect to win the league every year and that p's people off since that sure is true [ ] wp
Best of luck in the playoffs

WTF are the BBC on?! Apparently Newcastle can all but make the great escape today by beating Fulham. Don't
See it working like that at all, unless Bolton pull something out the bag.
Three points would be lovely. Three points for us and Bolton and Villa would be even more gratefully received!

If Newcastle could make sure that they don't stay up until the last day of the season I would be eternally grateful etc, etc.

Well I expected to be in the bottom 3 heading to the last day. I hadnt thought we would get so much help from the other teams, which makes it disappointing that we are still there.
I find it hard to be as pissed off with the overpaid lazy b's as I think I should be. Mainly because I still think there is some quality there, but the pressure has sapped a lot of confidence away. A player playing in fear is about as much use as a passport to a Sunderland fan. Perfect example being Jonas Guiterrez for one.
I'll be interested in seeing the disallowed goal again later, not that it makes any difference. I felt that if we had kept 11 men on the pitch there was something there for us. I'm not sure it was a sending off, though it was at the other end. The fact he was 'last man' is completely irrelevant. It looked like the touch was taking him well wide of goal and I think there was enough doubt of it being a clear goal scoring opportunity. Having said that I heard Shearer saying he had no complaints about it and I guess he has seen it again.
We go to Villa with it not being in out hands... though if Pompey can beat Sunderland on Monday we will know that beating Villa sill 99% keep us up and a draw
should
be good enough.
Today was the last time I will be at SJP for a while. Unless the club hold me to my contractual obligation, then I wont have a season ticket next term. 200+ round trips have been bad enough, I dont think I could cope with 600+! I'll still be trying to get to half a dozen home games and hopefully a similar number of away games if I can get tickets, regardless of what division we end up in.

I drove through Newcastle today, all I saw were road signs for Darlington, Doncaster, Leeds, York, Hartlepool, Bradford, Grimsby, Scarborough, Carlisle, Scunthorpe.
Nice to see the travelling away Toon Supporters being pointed in the right directions for seasons to come

Can anyone make up a photoshop based on Childline but on Geordie Line instead? Could be handy for the Geordies at work on Tuesday.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Newcastle United will be playing 3-5- fucking 2....
One time. (plus another three for Mid may).
