Dave Penly pushes, takes the blinds.

Antonio Dicesare raises to 20k straight after to do the same.

The aggression here is very balanced, despite the disparity in chips, no-one is clearly dominating the table. It might be a case of waiting for a couple of levels until the blinds force people to up the stakes a little. I can't remember a DTD final having this many players for this long.

Alan Stearn, "Shittttttt!"

He folds.

Dicesare:

Stearn, "I folded Tens."

...("Ahhh, phew!" says Stearn.)... ...("Noooooooo" says Stearn)...

"I would've won, I would've won! But it's a great bet by you and it's worked out well for you," says Stearn.

Dave Penly is out in 7th winning £1,155

Dave, "At least I've missed most of the Sunday night comps."

Antonio Dicesare raises to 30k and takes the blinds.

Billy Ngo raises to 25k and takes the blinds.

Garinder Purewal raises to 20k and takes the blinds.

Ahhh the mudanity of it all, I don't think there's been more than a couple of 3-bets all day.

With the blinds still 4k/8k Alan Stearn pushes UTG for something like 320k. Everyone folds.

This made me laugh though.

Garinder Purewal has taken a couple of knocks in the last few minutes, twice he's raised 25k but had to fold to reraises from other players. Both him and Billy Ngo have slowed down somewhat, Ngo only has about 120k now so a raise could commit him.

Wong and Swingler are still pushing to survive while the big stacks Stearn and Dicesare perhaps aren't showing enough aggression to really put the squeeze on the other stacks.

Purewal, "I really want to get four handed, because then I can really play with these guys," he pointed to Wong and Ngo as the two players he rated the most on the table.

Garinder raises to 25k. Adrian Swingler calls from the big blind with 80k behind.

Swingler bets 10k. Garinder moves in. Swingler instantly folds. Garinder shows Kings. Swingler just has 70k left.

Alan Stearn from the cutoff raises to 24k. Adrian Swingley moves all-in for 73k more from the button. Stearn thinks for ages, before passing face up.

Next hand and Billy Ngo raises to 20k from UTG, Alan Stearn moves all-in, declaring, "I'm not passing a pair this time."

Back to Billy who says, "I have to call," he shows .

Stearn triumphantly flips . "I said I had a pair!"

Billy Ngo is out in 6th place winning £1,485

Remaining five players are discussing a deal.

Billy Ngo, "I got 7th at the GBT in Teeside, so I really didn't want to get a 6th, 7th or 8th place here either! The cards just dried up. Oh well..."

I am absolutely certain that I saw Dave Penly in Budapest yesterday. Can anyone explain how he made it back to play at DTD also yesterday? If he has a teleporter, am very angry that he's not sharing.

Players have chopped the tournament. Antonio Dicesare and Alan Stearn are taking just less that £7k each, while the other three players are picking up £4,500 each.

Which means the tournament has come to a slightly abrupt ending.

Alan Stearn has been officially declared the winner!

He also played in Birmingham too.

P.S Can we have a Rod-puking status update?
