Hi my first post on the hand analysis so sorry if i dont post it right!!

Was playing the £25 rebuy PLO at the international casino in aberdeen on friday.
I had just been moved to a new table, last 17 left.
After about 15 - 20 hands i had seen about 3 flops missed and folded. (2 of the flops being my blind)
I reckon I have quite a tight image at the table. I have around 10500 in chips with only 2 ppl at the table with less. most have between 25 - 40k
blinds are 400/800 so im pretty short.
I call the 800 in mid position with    (best hand i have seen for over an hour!)
its then raised to 2500. 2 players call and i call to see the flop. ( 2 big stacks and 2 short stacks)
flop comes
1st big stack checks short stack moves all in for 8500
What should i have done?

Any thought appreciated!!

Johnny

Hi my first post on the hand analysis so sorry if i dont post it right!!

don't post the result, it skews peoples opinions on the hand, you want them to have the same info that you had at the time

probs worth editing your op now before everyone reads it to remove oppos hand and the final result. this will get you a more balanced set of opinions.

you can post the actual results later once people have analysed the hand

tell me a hand you would like to see flipped over by the shortstack if you call and everyone else goes away.

I'm not fully understanding the dilemma here. You have bottom two pair and no draw. I'm thinking this is an easy pass?

yeah it was a terrible call, i let myself get frustrated and for some reason resigned myself to the hand before i had even been dealt cards. I knew the original raiser was trying to steal and the other short stack was frustrated and very much on tilt.
so decided to play. with the idea of jamming on the flop but i forgot the other short stack was to act before me and he jammed, i knew he had nothing as i had a pretty strong read on him. i called for this reason but he made a flush. Terrible decision by me and one i will not be making again!!! i hope!! i just wanted to see just how terrible it was!!
Thanks for your replies, Bring on much flaming!!!

I think if you had a tight image why not use this image preflop and raise. its not the greatest hand. but you might get respect and more chance of winning the pot with a cbet on the flop or preflop. But i would prob fold preflop or raise. but folding is better for me
