Gareth Jones has doubled through Damian Evans, behind with vs , the calvary coming int he form of a board.

Next Guy Johnson doubles through Darren Hickman with vs on a two spades ("Spades!" says a forlorn Hickman)...

Best story so far though, this is Herbert Kasbauer's first ever live tournament, generally his max buy-in is $10!

Floppy may have further details, but a disgruntled Alan Armitage has just joined me at the lappie to share his tale of woe. According to the man from Halifax, Pippa Flanders made it 20,000 with Q-J, Armitage pushed for what he said was 80,000 (although others seem to be informing me he had much less) with A-A and Damian Evans called with Q-Q. Flanders passed face-up (although, again, rumour has it she called and exited on the hand) and Armitage revealed his aces. Although a country mile ahead, the case queen hit the flop to knock Armitage out.

yes your right forgot about the 18k i lost the pot before and i thought she had folded face up as she never put any chips over the line

Paul McIntyre has been up and down like a kangaroo on a trampoline this last level or two. First he doubled Damian Evans up with versus on an board. Then a couple of hands later, with just 15 to 20,000 remaining he pushed all-in preflop with , Andreas Hoivold called from the small blind and Gareth Jones shoved from the big. Hoivold folded, and Jones showed , but it wasn't enough as the board came to keep the Liverpudlian youngster alive. He now has 50,000.

Paul McIntyre is now out.

Andreas Hoivold raised to 100k on button, in effect setting both Gareth Jones and McIntyre all-in. Jones passed and McIntyre and his glum 50k or so stack peeked at , saying, "Ok, this is good enough to gamble with..."

Hoivold showed
