Crikey, they're dropping like Ramones here and disappearing quicker than your belief during a season of 24.
There's a raise from UTG to 3.3k, Tom Middleton makes it 8.8k. Harprit Gurnham pushes all-in, Suzanne Pyefinch pushes all-in. UTG agonises and folds, Middleton folds.
Gurnham:
Pyefinch:
Gurnham is crippled and his remaining few chips go in, and then to a cleanly shaved Sunny Chattha.
Stuart Rutter -- "35k and I don't deserve to be here."
Jon Heath has knocked out his friend Fionn Macnamara. Jacks against Fours.

Bizarre hand we heard from Peter from BlueSquare. Marc Goodwin playing a 115k stack apparently made a standard UTG raise for the 600/1200 level, passed to Martyn Cavanagh in the small blind who apparently moved all-in for 50,000. Marc snap-called.
Marc Goodwin: A-T
Martyn Cavanagh: K-K
A board devoid of aces puts the Welshman on 100k now.

As I was penning my last reports, there was a funny off-the-table incident involving Liverpool's Matty McHillenny (I apologise for any misspellings). As Matty came over to chat with AWOP's Phil, he placed his glass on the bin, thinking it was a table, only for it to go straight through and smash at the bottom. He tried to pretend it didn't happen, but Phil cottoned on and highlighted his error, much to his own personal delight, to the rest of the press room.
Here's Matty remaining cucumber cool under pressure.

Runner up in last year's Grand Final, Sami Yusef, has doubled through Kevin McNally. Didn't catch the hand details, but 16,700 left McNally's stack to leave him with just several thousand and an expression like a firmly smacked bottom.

Silly Peter got it wrong, Marc raised, Martyn reraised and Marc shoved with Martyn calling. Makes more sense now.

I heard it on the grapevine that James Akenhead is out. Guy Johnson moved all-in on the river of a 2-3-J-Q-Q board and James called and looked very annoyed when Johnson showed J-7, we're guessing Akenhead had J-3 or J-2 and got counterfeited on the end.
Sickdog! What happened?

Recent GCBPT Liverpool champion
Zachary
Ford
is running so hot at the moment that you could fry and egg on his forehead, and today seems to be no different. He was already big chip leader heading into Day 2, and now he's enjoying even more good fortune having taken the scalp of neighbour Mr M Boy. It was
Gregory
Howard
who opened the action, his raise from the cut-off being reraised by
Zachary
Ford
, and then Mateyboy who pushed all in for not too much more. Howard quickly folded, but Ford was less hospitable, mainly because it was so little to call. Meeting expectations, Ford did indeed call, and was forced to reveal a rather eye-opening
. Mateyboy had
. Although ahead, he didn't look confident, and after a clinical
board, Mateyboy was gone. "You had to call," agreed the table in unison as Ford scooped the pot.

The scores on the board for Mr Ford are approximately 150,000.

With 67 players of the original 341, the action is hurtling at the pace of a lard encrusted snail at the moment as we near the end of the 800/1,600 level. Very little in the way of big hands, and fewer exits than expected. I did catch sight of one all in, however, Barry Grime doubling up an unknown player pictured below with
versus
. I'm not sure when the wonga went in, but with the board reading
, it looks nasty either way.

Chris Sokrati is out,
vs Richard Ellis'
on a
board.
Michael Denton has busted Stephen Morris who had to dance his way to the rail after his threes ran into kings.
Matthew Buckland raises to 3,700 and Andreas Hoivold calls, it's passed to Stuart Rutter in the blinds who repops to 13,000 with only about 9,000 behind. Squeeze works and Rutter tries to get out of the rut.
Bryan Clarke has doubled through Tom Middleton with
vs
despite the flop coming
. The
turn added chop possiblities and the
on the river allowed Clarke to say, "I nearly shat myself when I saw that flop..."

"I can't win a race."
QQ 11 - AK 0 is the count I make it now for this comp.
