Phil Ivey, during the break, aaked Jen for some advice on how to play AK in mid position. Jen's having none of it. "Coaches in the Car Park".

Marc Goodwin takes a 50k pot off ActionJack with a strongly-played 7 9 in the small blind. He bet the river on what he probably considered a bluff (with a pair of
only) and was called by Paul with Ace high! Bengt Sonnert goes, "I like the play with 79 from the small blind!" and Marc says, "You know who taught it me?" Pointing at ActionJack...

I have to say that I had no idea that was being taken... yikes.
Hi Snoopy - you could come and play, but if you wanted to play like the final nine you'd have to mainly pass, with the occasional outrageous bluff (Rich 'Strummer' maintains that his hand was K8 when he pushed all-in against Ferguson that time).

Richard Herbert takes another big pot, this time off Tony G, who called 40k preflop, 110k on the flop only to pass on the turn when Richard went all-in for nearly half a mil... So that's twice in an hour. Sorry no more detail, but he's on the old TV table.

I should book a flight then - ariston can vouch that my playing style sounds perfect for that

By dint of hand signals from Tony G at the "out of bounds" TV Table, he tells me he's down to 700k.

Kenna James seems to like trying to wind up short-stacked Frenchman Jean-Jacques Ghebali. It appears that earlier JJ called a sizeable raise of Mr. James' with a four in his hand and he's been loath to let him forget it, saying things like. "Oh, so you've got an eight? No, of course you raise; if you want to call 60k with a four, what are you going to do with an EIGHT?" He's never rude, exactly, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get involved in a pot rather soon.
