Jean Jacques is down to 31k.

Blinds at 8k - 16k, antes 2k, and 4 handed. Almost move time, eh?

Jean-Jacques gets all in with a tiny stack with 10 7
Bengt Sonnert gives him a spin with 9 3 off

Flop: 9 4 2
Turn: 4
River: A

And with a bit of a moan from the crowd of supporters following Mr. Ghabeli, he exits 8th for $50,000.

Just to clear up that earlier confusion about the potentially very short handed tables at this stage:

They've redrawn onto ONE table, as is right and proper, and are taking their seats even now.  One more out and the final six get a little rest before the final tomorrow, while Mr. Seventh could try his luck in the 'freeroll' next door.

Are they letting you see/get access to that table - sounds like they were a bit tight with the TV table before

Thanks for your fantastic updates!

Come on Bengt!

Good stuff, glad to hear the're moving to one table. I must admit I would have been amazed had Matt Savage not considered this eventuality in advance.

Phil Ivey looking like lady luck is with him this tourney - I hope he wins it as he always seems like a really nice guy. He's also staring intently at me from the cover of a magazine on my desk - I'm sure he knows what hand I have yet I'm not even playing poker!

Paul Jackson found  just as Tony moved in with  .

Flop:   Asp two spades
Turn:   , bringing that hope of the flush draw to Tony
