Hi,

Any more news on Jim "Tim Freeman" Buckley.

Also how is Rob Whatsize doing after that hand?

Mrs Buckley

Jim has around 32,000. As I was counting his stack, he raised it up to 750 preflop and received two callers, but after checking the two hearts flop, snapped up the pot with a 1,500 bet on the turn.

Mark Hayes has knocked out John Conroy and crippled Ben Vinson, it was the old vs vs with Hayes raising, Conroy pushing, Vinson calling and and Hayes calling all-in.

The board of Two Clubs helped no-one and we're down to around 140 players.

Vinson went out soon after.

Double up for Peter Hambleton thanks to Paul Grummitt, Two Clubs two spades versus on a two hearts . The turn sealed the deal, although Grummitt seemed to continue requesting a ten. "Another one gone," announced Simon Trumper, but after a quick count, it emerged that Grummit still had around 3,000 left.

Lee McMillan has also joined the double up club, his increase in chips coming in rather more fun-filled circumstances. With the board reading , Luke Marsh looked home and dry with against an inferior , but a dramatic on the river dashed any hopes of a scalp and kept McMillan alive. He now has just under 20,000 in chips.

It's important to understand that a live updater's duties aren't confined to the game of poker, but also the world of alcohol consumption, so as we creep into the third break of the day, I feel obliged, morally so, to report disappointing news. After a several hours of psychological warfare, Dewi James has finally cracked and made that inevitable journey to the bar. As I rode over on my moral high horse, Dewi tried his best to conceal the evidence, but whilst he hid his booty like a Welshman caught interfering with a sheep, he was unable to stop me snapping the evidence as he retook his seat. That crucial photo was taken from afar, but if we zoom in, you can clearly see that it isn't a pint of milk that Dewi has his greasy paws on.
