Chip Counts:

Dave Rudling: 201,600
Marc Goodwin: 198,500
Ash Hussain: 156,300

Anyone's game!

David Rudling just had a suggestion I think we all agreed with.

"Let's put the blinds up really high so it's all luck!"

Back at the felt, the blinds are now 4k / 8k / 400.

First hand Ash raises...and picks up the blinds.

Well played sir!

Marc makes it 25k from the button and big blind David is up for it.

Flop:

David checks to Marc, and Marc makes it 35k to go. David doesn't want to go for that much, so he folds.

David raises to 25k...and Ash calls!

FLOP: Ah.

30k from David. Ash...calls!

OMG ACTION!

TURN:

David checks...Ash checks.

RIVER:

David moves all-in and Ash passes...and a big pot goes to David Rudling, who was already the chip leader and has just increased his advantage.

That hand puts Ash down to 100k, David boosts up to 270k and Marc hovering around 200k.

Next hand, as if to make up for losing that monstrous pot, Ash gets a walk. And the hand after that, he raises to 24k from the small blind and gets David's big blind. Doesn't that make it all better?

Ash folds, and now it's David's turn to nick Marc's big blind. Nicking achieved.

David Rudling raises to 23k from the small blind, and big blind Marc Goodwin reraises, another 45k. Rudling moves all in, Goodwin calls, and it's looking good for Mr Cool...

Rudling:
Goodwin:

Board: Two Clubs

Mr Cool rather loses his cool and slams a fist on the table, and then I think he kicks a chair, albeit quite gently and it doesn't fall over or anything. Nevertheless, Marc Goodwin is OUT in 3rd place, winning £10,000.

And the very next hand, Ash finds himself all in, and called!

Fingers crossed...

Ash:
David:

Board:

Thus Ash doubles up to 245,800, Rudling still in the lead, but not by much...

Silent sighs among the updaters who'd really like to go home, silent rejoicing from Ash who now has a serious shot at the £20k first prize.
