Tim Flanders is dar-gone-diddly. He held but ran into Peter Semmens's on a Two Clubs board.

Cristiano Blanco leads out for 4.5k on a and Michaela Kalmar raised to 12k. The Italian makes the call but then folds when Mrs Kalmar moves all-in for 15,525 and Blanco is at the, "Will you show if I pass?" stage. He flashes the and folds, Mrs Kalmar shows Jacks.

During the break I delved into the smoking area for the first time since DTD opened, if only to see if there was anyone worth speaking to. Sadly, I drew a blank, so I thought I'd have a quick word with current chip leader Pete Charalambous. Heckling courtesy of Simon Nowab.

Plenty of action in the space of just a few minutes: Ricky Smith and Daniel Cochrane exiting; Maria Demetriou and Ben Mayhew doubling up.

All the details coming up...

The predator eyes up the surrounding area.

He spots his prey.

And then strikes!

Ben Mayhew =

Mayhew doubles through to 60,000.

Cristiano Blanco is having a bit of a rush so far today.

He just called a 10k bet on the river of a three clubs board with which was good as Jim Buckley could ony show .

Dave Jones has dropped to about 49k after a losing a couple of decent pots, though he's still rather happy about calling three streets with on a Q-Q-x-x-x board and having his opponent instantly muck after the river call.

Maria Demetriou can't bear to look as she moves all in with her tournament life on the line, her in need of assistance against the of Mark Emberson on a flop.

The turn changes the nothing, but the river does, and it's finally safe for Chili to take a peak through her fingers. She's now on 30,000.

Lawrence Gosney raises preflop and Ben Mayhew reraises from the blinds a hefty amount. Gosney makes the call.

The action is very fast and before I can even write it down both players are all-in!

Gosney:

Mayhew:

As the third ten hits the turn, Ben rolls his eyes skywards as he's forced to chop the pot with Gosney. A win would've been massive and probably put back amongst the chip lead giving him 120k or so. As it stands, he's still on about 60k.
