Paul Brammer raises Cristiano Blanco's 8k bet to 22.5k on a
board. Blanco tries to get him to show but Brammer isn't biting.
A couple of hands later Brammer raises to 4.5k and Dave Jones pumps it up to 13.8k from the button. Brammer folds
face up this time.
Cristiano with a tinge of mock anger, "Why you show to him and not to me?"
Brammer, "I only show when I have crap!"

Frustrating times for William Fry as he is forced to give up a big pot to
Cristiano
Blanco
. I'm not sure how we go there, but I was lured over to a
board by
Paul
Gourlay
who announced, "A big pot's brewing." But a quick glance at the pot informed me that it had already brewed. Almost before the river was even dealt, Fry led out for 20,000, only for Blanco to declare himself all-in in equally, if not more so, quick time. A disgruntled Fry sat back in his seat and began to torture himself by running through the possible hands. "Ace-ten, tens even?" he mused. Eventually, he swallowed defeat and released his hand, a motion that was rewarded by Blanco showing
. "Keep calling and hitting lucky flops on me," grumbled Fry under his breath, the EPT Budapest clearly not getting his own way during these latter stages.

Players are now on a 15 minute break, but on the last hand prior to the break, David Anderson limped from the button for 1,600 only for Billy Defty to peek down at his cards, raise his eyebrows and say, "Well, I'm raising". Moments later, he made it a total of 5,000 to play, which was enough to take down the pot. Just to prove that he wasn't simply punishing the limp with a preflop bluff, Defty showed his hand to Anderson, which I imagine included an ace.

LeKnave, "Everyone is tight on my table apart from Will Fry who is sitting to my left, my life is tez."
There was a pot brewing at the end between Paul Brammer and Paul Gourlay. Gourlay button raised to 6k and Brammer made the call, before check folding to an 8k bet on the
flop. Gourlay had about 22k behind but Brammer declined to put him in.
The 'Rocket Man' flipped
and said, "Once I'm down to 40k if I'm raising I'm not going fold after that!"
Players now on a break.
