On the final hand before the break, Nick Hicks raised preflop and received one caller in Bernie Holmes. On the flop, Hicks continue bet for half the pot, which again Holmes flat-called. Hicks opted to check the turn though, which enticed a bet of 70,000 from Holmes. As the other players left the table, Hicks mulled over his options, but ultimately threw his cards into the middle. "I had kings there," Hicks later told me. "You made me sweat for a moment there," said Holmes as he joined the conversation. "I had two pair, hit it on the flop."
