Some of the advice I've been given here has stuck and I wanted to thank people for it and to repeat it for the benefit of those who may not have seen it / taken it.

In no particular order....

Get a rakeback deal

Get Hold'em Manager

Don't get clever at micro-stakes levels

Playing 30% VPIP is NOT tight

Calling preflop raises with small pairs needs thought, and the ability to flod when you don't hit the flop.

Sudden large river bets from the Villain do not equate to strong=weak at micro stakes.

I've learnt more than this.

I've learnt that the game I play, at small stakes, is very different from the game that is played at higher stakes. My mind has been blown by reading HH from Alex for instance.

and I've learnt that those of you that take the trouble to respond on this board are true gentlemen.

amongst my ambitions for 2009 is to partake fully in a Blonde Bash, I owe beers to some of you.

Thanks

If you can't learn from your mistakes, then you can't learn.  I'm learning....lots.
