The first 6 months of 2008 was great for me, lots of final tables and 1 very nice score - enough to pay for a family holiday and new t.v.
The second 6 months were plain awful - cant remember the last time i finalled in a decent tourney and bankroll is now at an absolute minimum.

Need to find that winning formula again, build a decent roll and push on from there.

Live, i want to make another visit to DTD to play the £300, had a great time in October and plan on doing it at least once again this year.
Sat into a GUKPT ME or other $1000+ buy-in tourney

1. Improve at poker, particularly my deep stacked poker game. Seeing as I play so little on PS and FT, that is the way forward.

2. Play more live poker. Play a GUKPT.

3. Learn a new skill.

4. Get good at playing guitar.

5. Study more about ancient Egypt.

6. Bust Flushy then stake him for 5$ Stts.

7. Get fit/ stay fit.

well, things are going to be very different for me this year, so will my poker.  I will soon be leaving my current job in return for a pay off.  I'll be kicking things off with a trip to Vegas, where it will be good if I can make a bit of cash playing poker, if not, then so be it!

I will also be putting some money aside to use as a live poker bankroll, and I'll be looking to play more seriously (as well as enjoying it still, hopefully) and trying to sustain a steady profit to put towards any earnings I make temping or whatever.

I didn't play online much in 2008, but have had a few results on stars over the last couple of months giving me a fairly healthy bankroll to work with there, so i'll be trying to turn a steady profit on there too.

My biggest goal this year is going to be keeping my bankroll managed and not playing the odd £250-£300 game when I'm not rolled for them just because I fancy it - but I will try to sat in to a few events.

good luck me!

Have being trying to decide on mine for ages, this is all i could come up with:

Waste less time playing live
Use my time away from poker better, i.e. holidays rather than just bumming around at home
Play more volume! Last year i only managed just over 1100 MTT's i want to hit at least 2500 but hopefully 3k+ this year
As a side to that make the top 50 on pocketfives rankings

Oh and finally, less sports betting (like that will happen)

Build up a roll big enough to play and be a winning player at 400nl.

Qualify for a big live tourney.

Learn how to play omaha to a decent level.

Post more on blonde.

2- learn to play dealer's choice

3- be able to not moan about luck/beats
