gg wp

good updates despite being on your own and me trying to tilt your brain at every opportunity.

You can't tilt me, I'm bolt-proof. Also, my little brother is waaaaay more annoying than you.

Great updates..vwd Flops.

I reckon we should post this entire FT on the PHA forum under the header "See, kids? This is why we shouldn't do deals"

If deals make people play so recklessly, surely they favour better players.  For instance the final hand of 88 vs A6; an easy trap to set against a hugely over-betting player. wp

the deal done here didn't favour the better players..(as the play after the deal was done proves)

Granted it seemed a bit of a joke from the updates.  But what I'm saying is that whether a deal is done or not, some players adjust incorrectly to the prize structure and this favours better players.  Whether this manifests in the JJ fold or the x million BB shove with 44 after the deal.
Cheers,

It's a fair point Mr. Kid.

I imagine the player in question would give away more equity in plays like the JJ fold pre-deal than in stuff like the 30BB shove afterwards though.

The oppurtunity to nibble at their stacks and gain chips with less risk etc. being lost after the deal.

I dunno, it's an interesting one.

Wei Cheng moves all-in for 87k. Matt Cartwright calls on the button. Jim Peppercorn thinks about it for a moment in the big blind, but decides it's too salty for him.

Cartwright:

Cheng: Errrm... two spades

Wei Cheng is OUT in 8th place winning £2,111

Not meaning to sound bitter and twisted or anything, but I will.  How in hell's great ass did this Cheng person make it all the way to 8th and £2k??

He was the villian who made a shocking play V MOI Kings pre flop to knock me out with 3 5 yesterday.  Today he was heard screaming and shouting when his he reraised all in with 2 4 and found himself against Aces (pattern forming here!) only to see an A 3 5 flop!  Then THIS!

gg

signed A Sigh Just Sigh

God only knows Maria

Was such a shame to, put an end to Trigg's singing!

I was on his table from the start till he knocked me out at 3am. (He actually had a respectable hand!)

We had him down to 3k in about an hour of it starting, unfortunately he made it all back and more.

Surprised he didnt win it to be honest, seems to be the way it works!  Wink
