Nik Persaud's long trek of grafting is over, he just lost a big flip to Nicky Evans. A-Q vs 7-7 and couldn't manage to win a pot that would have given him a really good stack.

Andreas Hoivold gets moved from his table.

"What? You can't move me!!! Look at how many chips are on this table!"

Dave 'LeKnave' Jones is out. He pushed UTG for about 8k. But the flat call of Mo Muse was bad news when they ended up on their backs.

for LeKnave but for Mo Muse which held on the two hearts board, but the earlier cooler of A-J vs A-A on an A-7-7-7-8 board was probably what really cost him.

Andreas Hoivold might not have wanted to move tables, but he's doing ok so far. He just 4bet Laurence Houghton to the tune of 15k more, (I didn't see the initial or 3bet) and Houghton folded. The Norwegian who finished 3rd in Blackpool is now on about 70k.

Julian Thew -- 45k. Very ominous.

Laurence Houghton has been knocked out holding against Ian Woodley's , no help on the board.

Praz Bansi has taken a big hit from Iwan Jones.

On the turn of a Two Clubs board, Iwan raised Praz' 4,000 bet to 10,000 which Praz called after some thinking. The river paired, bringing the and Praz checked. Iwan fired out 15,000 now causing some major tankage from Praz as the Welshman sat dispassionately still.

A clock was eventually called and Praz began to count out his stack, it looked like he would still have about 40k if he made the call. "10 seconds," came the call and Praz folded his cards, like a kid forced to give back a Christmas present.

James 'Maverick' Keys is out. He squeezed with A-J after Nicky Evans had raised to 2,050 and received a couple of calls. Keys pushed for 25,000 and Evans called with the others getting out of the way.

Nicky Evans is on 64k as a result.

Players are now on the last break.

Chip leader looks to be either Mo Muse or Nicholas Holbrook, both are over 90k, but there's quite a few players with around 70k.

Steve Jelinek has doubled up with against . It looked like he might have 3or 4 bet for half his stack and was put in by Mark Wilson.

Steve, "I've got rubbish, I have to call though, I've put in half my stack."

The board helped though, .

Steve said sheepishly, "I thought I played it brilliantly."

Nicky Evans just took a big hit.

He raised preflop to about 2,700 was called by the button and the big blind.

Check to Evans who bets 5,100. The button folded and Craig Bignall in the big blind called.

Check again. Evans bets 12,700 and Bignall thinks for a good three minutes, even checking how much Evans has behind, about 40k or so. Call, this pot is getting huge.

three clubs

Bignall leads for 14,750 on the scary river card.

Evans eventually makes a reluctant called with a grimace.

Bignall shows . Evans apparently had flopped a set of aces.

Andreas Hoivold 3bets Jerome O'Shea out of the blinds. O'Shea calls from the button.

Hoivold bets 10.7k, a fairly quick call.

Check, check.

Hoivold checks again. O'Shea bets 18k. Hoivold calls fairly quickly, but it's not really a snap.

O'Shea is forced to show for a huge swing and a miss. Hoivold scoops with and is over the 100k mark.

Praz Bansi is out. Look like he got it in on a K-Q-T board with J-3 but ran into Iwan Jones' flopped nut straight with A-J. The 9 on the turn would have meant it was all going in on the turn and Praz failed to ping an Ace on the river.
