QQ faced with an all-in......

The tournament is the £150 +1 re-buy or add on at the Rendevouz Casino in Brighton.

We are at Level 4, blinds 150/300.
I have 18k, villan has 14k (average is about 17k)

Villain is a competent player who plays many big buy in tournaments.
He has shown down 2 hands when called after making big bets, one a complete bluff, the other the nuts.

I have a fairly tight image, having won a few small pots and the only hand i have shown after a raise got through uncontested was queens about 10mins previous.

UTG+1 villain limps.
In mid position i look down at  and make it 1000.

All fold to villain who calls.

Flop 

Villain checks - i make it 1200, villain calls.

Turn 

Villain checks again, i make it 3000, villain calls.

River 

Villain pushes for 8k

What should i do?

The only possible draw he calls with on flop is 78, which picks up a pair on the turn, which might lead him to have a look at the river, which he misses, so pushes.

He could possibly have a nine (A9, possibly T9 or 89). JJ and TT raise somehere before now.

Those are the only hands you beat - the question is would he play a set this passively? Would a set check-call turn - wouldn't it try to raise here?

My initial thought was 'it's a set', but I'm now leaning more towards 78, so I say call.

The first thing I would do is call the TD, who knows how many 6 clubs are in the deck...

   I would call, I would also raise a little more pre-flop, but a minor point

ugh so it's possible he has called 2 streets with just the 6, or indeed a set, tough spot i think i would call though.

He is a bit of a tellbox though so would be looking for any clue in his body language.

Perhaps charge a bit more pf, but that doesn't alter the hand obv.

I think I call, because out of position a set might well raise the turn seeing as it's a little drawey. Therefore I'd suggest he has a hand including the 6, or you're good.

Well i thought about it for a while - couldnt get any reads off oppo.
In the end i called.  I figured that a set would have check raised me all in earlier and i put him on a flush draw A7 s etc.

Anyway, floppy was right - he turned over 

He did say after that he was going to shove whatever the river......
