What a hilarious couple hours i've just had. So I pull up outside the bookies still in my courtesy car, and I get a phone call from the garage. They tell me I can pick up my car today if I want to... I make some excuse that I am not about today as, I have not got the excess on me and am waiting for a cashout from skybet before I could pay it! I have £100 in my pocket and that is it till I get the cashout.

So I go in bookies and I just mess about really, betting £10 wins or £5 each way. Get a 5/1 winner in a £10 double I had and the second dog goes on to lose by a head, sigh. Then I go onto the next race, and I get a funny look when I lump £60 on this 3 dog at 4/1. It binks in, result. Shibb. Next race im on again, £100 @ 5/2 now, the dream of me being able to spin up to my excess (£750) is well in my thoughts.

Boom, trap 3 again, shipp.. Thats £550 I have in my pocket now. Hmm, what to do, only £200 to go now... So I make a treble attempt which, if wins, will cop my excess. £80 @ 3/1. Damn, loser, it was due.

Now I am not one for quitting while i'm ahead, so continued to play. I had £30 on a horse @ 4/1 which Brent text me about which just got beat and then put £120 on a 4/1 shot again to bink in the excess but he gets beat, sigh. The dream is rapidly turning into a vision of me sad at losing this money back. Should I just quit now with my £350 I have in my pocket? Should I bollocks.

Next dog race and I look at the 3 dog. I study it over.. Because it has a bad looking draw I turn myself to the 9/4f Trap 6. I lump £200 on, but also can't resist the value of Trap 3 and bink £50 on at 4/1 as a saver. I hand the guy my bet, walk away from the counter, and look at my slip for some unknown reason, normally it just goes straight in the back pocket. I see I have written down Trap 4 for £50 win by accident. SHIT. I run back to the counter and say to the guy what I meant, and he kindly has no problem at changing it for me. The race starts and 6 falls out, marv. 3 pings though, and the 4 dog turns second to it. Shit... Somehow, and I don't know how, but 3 holds on and I get my money back for the bet thanks to the guy behind the counter allowing me to change moments before the race.

I now have a second lifeline. And not to waste it I looked at the next race, 630m at Monmore. Trap 4 stormed home in his last outing in and wasn't penalised by the grader. I think it is a cert so bink £350 @ 6/4 on it to get my excess, my last bullet! I text horner and tell him and he tells me he has £70 @ 3.1 on BF. The lids go up and 4 is first to appear. OI OI  i think in my head.. I expected us to come off the pace but to lead we have no trouble in winning here! Then, for some reason, he runs off the 2nd bend and the 6 dog gets inside him. We are still in 2nd but down the far side and the 6 dog is 6 lengths in front. Finally round the 5th bend we start making some ground and by the straight we are on level terms, all it takes is for us to push and we are there. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS, GTFI.

I walk to the counter and collect my £875. I give the guy behind the counter a £20 tip and we are all happy Smiley I immediately leave the shop and ring the garage to tell them change of plan I can pick up today! He tells me that he drove it round the block and the rear brake thing is warped and it needs changing. Marvellous! Apparently he can have it done in an hour and I should still be able to pick my car up late this afternoon. Weeeeeeeeeeee.

Great post!

I used to get pissed off with judgmental cashiers, so much so i used to purposfully go in there and do £3 bets for a while then stick a £300 one in there and they would always put it in for £3 then i'd have a go at them for being presumtuous and not reading the amount properly.

It got pretty expensive though and i decided that cashiers thoughout the land hand learned their lesson and stopped Cheesy

Sighh, was abs raging earlier. Ran so fkin bad on Tilt and others torns. So i stopped reg'ing past the 8's and decided to try and ship the 5-6 torns i was currently in.

Ended up finalling the $109 5k on Ipoker, but came 10th. Then just had 2 going later on the $20r Party and the $162 Super on Party. Went into the Party 20r final around 3/10, but its a massive crapshoot at that stage anyway and when 2/8, sum1 opens MP, i jam 99 from the button, and the guy 1/8 re jams and he just has me covered. He has AQ. gg on the Q x x flop. Sighhhhhh. So busted that 8th in flip for big CL. Meanwhile had been gathering a few chips together in the $162 and went into the final 6/10. Ended up jammin with KQ, get called by JJ, and lose yet another vital flip. 8.2k ftw in that too. I got 1.1k for 8th yet again!
Just added up and am  +$77 on the day. Obv il take a winning day but could have been so much more.

Nicky and Trigg in £200 at Walsall tonight i think. Hopefully theyve won it all! Jones, Middy and TommyC back from Tenerife 2mo night, then they're off Walsall for the ME GUKPT i think. Would probs go with them if i could get a bink online this week.

lets gogogogogo the rest of the week.

so....after getting my ass handed to me in a cash game last night i decided to start playing some decent poker today!

coming back with an average stack and 30/156 original entrants in the walsall 200fo. plz let me ship this event.

This ones not being played on MU coz its one of my freerol tournes for running the stable so i have the chance of getting some nice money (11k up top)......Really happy with the way i played today and for a 200fo there were quite a few tough tables. my 1st table had dave penly, julian thew and dave colclough who was quicky replaced by sonny chatta.....2nd table had adreas hoivold, paul parker, dan carter and a couple of young internet kiddies! pretty sick to have an ept winner on each of my tables for a 200 but oh well it was fun!

triggs being a right fag at the moment...hes just run a bath with bubbles foaming over the side and now hes sneeking off with a cigartette and a lighter to have a crafty fag in our non smoking rooms bath....(i think hes lighting candles tbf).

oh well better hit the sack coz its close to 5am and play restarts at 3pm. GL stable lets get the lot

Great game Totesport.

Went back into this bookies today with £100 in my pocket. I had Crayford 3/1 £40 winner, Sunderland £30 loser, Crayford £40 7/2 winner, Sunderland £30 loser... Then I went to put another £40 on Crayford dog and he questioned me. Are you a regular etc. I told him I was in yesterday but it was the other guy working and he was like well we don't like taking bets on dogs more than tenners unless you are regular. So I said, look, do you want me to try and give you my money back or not? He accepted my £40 bet. It binked @ 9/2. Then he restricts me to £10s on ANY dogs.

HAAHAHAHAHAH, didn't have another bet, just walked out.
