Nobody is claiming Fergus was banned for the grim.  Fergus was banned for his reaction to the mob of blondes that flooded his thread calling him a theif and a grimmer despite him coming back, confessing and saying he would pay everyone back.  Most of "the mob" were people who werent involved in the stake at all.

Yes Paul (Boba), and there are plenty on this thread calling Penly all sorts. Not all of whom have been grimmed by him

and Penly's reaction is not to wade in, merely to calmly post what has happened, amounts owed, plans etc. Therein lies the difference.
