Luke Patten OUT in 7th

Luke moved in on the cutoff with  As  and found a caller (well, a re-raise-all-inner) in Darren Grosvenor, whose  hit two pairs over the course of the board's emergence.  It was a case of two shortish stacks combining after a battle so that one of them had a playable stack, and it was Darren.  Luke wins £5,800.

Seconds later (you can just see Rhowena's eyes light up) another HUGE pot developed - snoopy has the details...

They're like buses!

Steve Wilsdon the 6th place finisher - winning £7,400 -

Dave Barnes the 5th place finisher - winning £9,100 -

Two birds, one stone. All the chips went in preflop.

Boatman limps under the gun.

Wilsdon pushes all-in.

Barnes also moves all-in.

Boatman calls.

On their backs.

Boatman = As . Wilsdon = . Barnes = .

Flop = Two Clubs

Turn = three diamonds

River =

Barney takes down a massive pot and knocks out two players in one hand.

Anthony Nicholls Takes On Barny news now -

He raised 25k preflop.  Barny called.  He bet 25k on the  flop.  Barny called.  He bet what looked like 80k on the  turn.  Barny passed.

Anthony flicked his hand up at the hole card cams (and us) and we caught a tantalising little glimpse of.... three diamonds !

Nicholls rakes in some much needed chips.

Tense stuff now and there are some weary faces out there.

This beagle's still sniffing around though.

Paul Traynor just raised a fair bit on the button and found small blind Darren Grosvenor moving all-in for 150k more (the pot itself was now over 100k).  A lengthy pre-pass dwell and then a pass, as usually follows pre-pass dwells.
