We are now hand-for-hand after losing
Jerome
Bradpiece
in 11th. After
Dinh Doat
Le
had made it 35,000 from under-the-gun, Bradpiece reraised all in and Le called, in the abrupt, confident manner that we have become accustomed to.
Le =
Bradpiece =
As a third knave hit the
flop, Le leapt into the air and slammed his fist onto the table. "No queen!" he demanded, and the dealer duly obliged, laying a raggy
onto the felt. A
on the river for bonus quads received a further cheer as Le celebrated with friend
Lam
Trinh
on the rail. "Yes!" he eclaimed in delight.
Meanwhile,
Jerome
Bradpiece
appeared stunned, his feet seemingly glued to the ground as his eyes remained fixated on the felt. Even when Le went over to shake his hand, Bradpiece was still motionless, his mouth slightly ajar.
Eventually, Bradpiece made his way out of the cardroom, slightly fatigued after a hard, but, in his eyes for sure, fruitless day's work and understandably gutted not only to have missed out on the final table, but also the chance of emulating his achievement from two years ago.

With the board reading
, Stephen Holden bet 80,000, Aaron Barry pushed all in, and Holden called the additional 70,500.
Holden =
Barry =
Turn =
River =
For a moment there, Barry thought he'd been Melivinned, but as soon as he realised that the pot was his, he slammed the table in ecstasy.
Double up for Barry.

After boasting the chip lead not too long ago, Stephen Holden is now your current short-stack, and consequently most likely bubbleboy with 65,000.

Drama here in Walsall. With exit holes pulsating rapidly and palms sweating profusely, it's two big stacks who clash to supply us with an unexpected all-in! As quick as a flash,
Sunny
Chattha
and Dinh Do Le find all their chips splattered across the felt.
Chattha =
Le =
Board =
They're counting Le chips as I write. If he's not out, he certainly crippled.

Well, he was crippled, and on the very next hand,
Dinh Doat
Le
moves all in against
Sunny
Chattha
with T-6 versus T-7, but the board comes 5-A-Q-5-2 for a split pot. Le survives.

After what was by far the biggest pot of the tournament, Dinh Doat Le is your new short-stack with 60,000, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Sunny Chattha is your new chip leader with what must be around the 850,000 mark. He should be safe for a spot on the final table now,

It's strange, in some ways, Dinh Doat Le could be described as very cocky, but, at the same time, you can't help but admire his bravado. Under-the-gun and with the blinds about to hit, Le picked up his two remaining stack in each hand and confidently threw them across the line. "All-in!" he exclaimed, and is proud that he was all in and wanting to make sure everyone knew. "Call me, everyone," he dared, "double me up," perhaps not spotting the lack of logic in his statement.
With the action folded around to Sunny Chattha in the big blind, the current chip leader took one look at his hand, scrunched his face and made the call.
Chattha =
Le =
Board =
And with that, a buoyant and charismatic character had departed, and we had our final nine.
