When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

The clock in the background reminds me of DTD. White until it gets to 5:00 when it turns red Smiley

Bloke was left with £50,000 and £250,000 : banker offered him £160,000 and he turned it down, and lost.

I don't think I have ever seen such a generous offer from the banker, I missed most of the show so he must have said something to imply he was going all the way with it.

Also, someone in the audience screamed like he had won it when they revealed the 50k, so for half a second the guy thought he had won it.

Huh, why would he offer that much ? I thought they'd never offer more than the middle point.

People always go on about how the banker wouldn't offer as much if the game was still live, seen one the other day where she dealt at 22k with 5 left, then was left with 20k and 75k and the offer was 45k, I thought that was bs, guess not.

What a frickin moron!!!  You're right and you gain 90k, but you lose 110k if you're wrong.  I'm taking the 160k every day of the week in that spot.  This show tilts me something cruel sometimes.

Possibly the wrong title.  Greedy would be more appropriate I guess.  He was shaking when he was told how much he was being offered.  The look on his face said it was truly a significant amount of money to him.  But the draw of fame and even more money took over.  GG 110k.

Ah well, he still got 50k just for showing up.  That'll do grand.
