Like a roulette wheel, no more Betts please. Jeremy Betts has just been knocked out by Paul Halling with A-K holding against 9-8.

We're just five spots from the money now.

Things have slowed to the speed of a crippled slug crawling through treacle as the bubble looms menacingly into view.

Sam Trickett's not loving it right now.

"If I lose one more race, I'm gonna quit poker!"

He has 60k though and still in with a shout.

John Exley ftw go go go

He still has around 100k and is in pretty good shape.

He just raised it up UTG and got folds all round. His granite reputation won't have been harmed by showing down pocket kings there.

Jonathan Garrett moves all-in UTG for around 30k and Guy Rolfe cold-calls. Ghassan Chehbi also makes the call from the small blind and the big blind folds.

Rolfe moves all-in for about 55k after Chehbi checks. Chehbi quickly folds to the push and Rolfe shows a dominating against Garrett's which holds on the bricky board.

Paul King Mk.2 has knocked out Imran McKenzie with vs all-in preflop on an oh-so boring Two Clubs board.

We're on the bubble now as David Wall hit the err... rail. He reraised all-in for 35k total on top of chip leader Philip Toomer's 14k preflop raise, the latter making a reluctant call with only to find himself flipping against which was lacking fold equity. A board later and 28 players are left.

Stop! Bubbletime!

Oh and now we're on a 20 minute break. Cheesy

The three men who look most in danger of bubbling at the moment are David Tighe, Jamie Purdon and David Oakton, all of whom have sub 10BB stacks.

With the end of that level the players are on a 15 minute break to plan their pre and post-bubble strategies over a cigarette, cup of tea, or for the more adventurous perhaps a cheeky alcoholic beverage or two.

We'll be back shortly!
