Paul King Mk2 is out, he pushed raised with and Arjanit Kondaj set him in with which held on the two hearts .

Couple of hands later and Kondaj raises the button with Hiren Kanabar shoving from the big blind. Despite the reraise all-in not being that much, Kondaj folds his face up and Kanabar shows him ...bizarre.

Toby Lewis has just taken a big scalp in the form of Te Ng Cao.

I joined the hand just as the dealer was sweeping all Te's chips over to Lewis with a board of A-5-Q-K-3 showing, Te showing A-6 for top pair and Lewis K-5 for two pair...

If Lewis keeps running like this he may be swapping his baseball cap for a top hat!

He's up to over 250k...

He's Not Your Guy, Friend.

Guy Rolfe has been eliminated by Aaron Fisher, Rolfe pushing the button with and Fisher calling with .

A topsy-turvy board eventually coming out on Fisher's favour; .

10 remain.

Ryan's Over The Moon

But crucially, it's not all over FOR Moon.

Toby Wilson just called his pre-flop shove wtih after some deliberation and it turned out he was in good shape versus Moon's sevens.

But it's been a good week for poker people with Moo in their name and a series of blanks followed by a decisive, if unnecessary, seven on the river left a dent in Toby's ever growing stack.

Slower than Allan Kessler on the bubble now.

Mark Docherty just raised to 40k on the button with 160k back but folded to Phillip Toomer's shove after a LOOOOONG think.

Aaron Fisher then raised to 40k and Docherty pushed with everyone folding quicker than at an Orgami class.

Sooo slow.

I have to say the quality of this part of the endgame is not nearly as high the last couple of months.

Trickett Takes a Hit

A nasty one for Sam.

I joined the flop of with Sam contesting the pot with Mark Docherty.

Mark had shoved all-in and Sam said "I think we're flipping here...", perhaps expecting a flush draw and an overcard before calling with .

He needn't have worried, he was in much better shape than a flip with his top pair against Docherty's straight draw.

With all eyes eagerly watching, the turn blanked out as the , before a spiked on the river to complete Docherty's straight.

Sam shook his head and made a sound like a cat trying to cough up a furball, as his stack took a possibly critical hit, Trickett reduced to just 90k or so now...

Docherty sheepishly offered an "unlucky mate" as he picked up his chips.

That hand led to a temporary cessation in play as the players take a 15 minute break before the race to the final table continues.

If any further testament was needed as to the passivity of the players out there, Simon Trumper just announced that this is the smallest field for a £300 DTD comp, factors like Easter and the simulataneous Irish Open affecting numbers.

Despite this, this is also the latest the final has ever started, with midnight rapidly approaching...
