There was actually an explanation for it if Sledge actually cares. First of all a few weeks in, Hurley found a massive pantry of Dharma Initiative food which he hid a huge stash of. The Hurley you see now had then spent three years off the Island where he could eat what he wanted, then he returned to the Island (and went back in time) to the 70s where there was a fully established Dharma Initative commune with plenty of food. That pretty much brings us to now, Hurley rarely went more than a week or two without a reasonable or plentiful supply of food. Hope that helps Sledge, probably should stick to slagging off and pointing out plot holes in programmes you actually watch

I am a convert. After 5.5 series in 4 weeks I'm hooked.
Pretty bored of 24 tbh although 1-5 was redic good.
Flushy, was TWW that good? Loved Sopranos.
