Who's getting there early on the Friday to start the socialising early/mid afternoon?

Other than the hotel or the casino, where would the locals suggest to start?

North Bar and Sela Bar on New Brigate are excellent bars if you like good beer.

The Hifi Club for those who like their funk and soul.

If you do the Otley run you will need to start midday imo.

Call Lane for late bar drinking. (Oporto, Jakk's) Alternatively go up to Mojos and Sandinista for the same which is at the top end of town.

otley run it is then. this is actually a pretty good idea, latecomers can join in at any point as long as enough phone numbers are exchanged and it always ends proper messy which is ideal
