The last week I've been experimenting with MTT SNGs. I've had some encouraging results, but the variance is high, and I wanted to do this proposal to take the edge off the variance, and to give me some direction with this, as I found my previous heads up thing worthwhile because it kept me disciplined and motivated or whatever.

The proposal...

A $2750 roll to play 45 man and 90 man MTT SNGs on Full Tilt

The staking period will last for a duration of exactly 1000 games

I will be playing the $24+2 games (perhaps mixed in with some $10+1 and $12+1 games when traffic is slower).

If the roll dips to $1500, I would dip to the $10+1 and $11+1 games. I wouldn't play below this level.

More details...

A 20% ROI is a realistic goal, and would be a good winrate.

Hopefully 1000 games will be enough to ride out the variance to some extent. I'm hoping I'll be able to get an accurate idea of how much I can make per game.

I'm not sure how long this will take. I can play up to 11 tables at a time. If I play a full day I can get in around 60/70 games. In theory I could probs do this in 2 weeks if I played nothing else. However, I might spend say half of my time playing something else on top of this with my own wad. Just to clarify, that would be completely seperate from this roll, wouldn't be be on Full Tilt, and wouldn't be MTT SNGs that I was playing. You can be assured that I will complete the 1000 games whatever happens though, and within a decent timeframe.

Feel free to Sharkscope Epitomised (pokerstars) and Fido7Dido (FT) to see my results so far. You'll have to filter the pokerstars username to 45 man tourneys or whatever. I was doing so awesome then hit a huge downswing on there. Bare in mind in my last session on Full Tilt, the software died, I couldn't get back on and I got blinded out on some final tables (FML) before I managed to get Amatay to take over. I've written about my experiences over the last week or so on my blog http://atkinator.blogspot.com  ... I realise my results aren't exactly Earth shattering, but you can be reasonable assured that I'm not gonna donk off the whole roll!

The deal...

Quite simply, at the end of the 1000 games, the profits will be split 50:50 between me and the stakers.

(If it goes well, I will do some kind of random Blonde staking, rather than offering a specific % this time)

I will post daily results on this thread, and people can keep up with my progress on Sharkscope.

Obviously transfer on FT is preferred, but Bank Transfers and PokerStars transfers are okay too. I'd like to get cracking with this ASAP, so it will need to be swift.

Will be selling in 5% chunks, at $137.50. 10% is obviously $275.

As an example (Just to clarify) if the roll ended up at $6000, a 5% investor would get $206.25 back.

Please note, like last time I did this, I will be buying a piece of myself. I will count as a staker like everyone else, and it will not affect the percentage split. I think the fact that I have a decent amount of my own money on the line is good for investors so you are sure I will take this seriously...

Feel free to ask any questions or whatever. I'm gonna put a 10% cap on investment (for each individual) to begin with, just to potentially get as many ppl involved with this as possible (purely for interest in the thread and motivational puropses) If there isn't all that much interest and someone happens to want a big chunk, I'll consider changing this, we'll see how things go.

The investors...

40% - Myself - Paid (obv)
10% - GreekStein - Paid
10% - Woodsey - Paid
10% - Eck - Paid
10% - DaveShoelace - Paid
10% - Dino1980 - Paid
10% - Bongo - Paid
5% - Amatay - Paid

Great proposal MC, good luck with this.

Can you just tell me how u ended up with the $206.25 figure? I calculated a different figure.

Oops looks like I did my maths wrong, you're right, it's $212.50

137.5+(1500*0.05) = 212.50

You thought of applying for Countdown Scotty? Wink

LOL, I'm awesome at the numbers part of Countdown but suck so bad at letters.

Anyways, that's still not the figure I came up with Tongue Why isn't it 137.50+(3250*0.05) = £300? I'm obv missing something.
