Apologies if I'm being thick here but what is the triple-chance ?

Same as a normal double chance but you get a third go as well.

You start with 3k in chips and everyone is entitled to another two lots of 3k in chips at any point in the first two levels.  If you havent taken them by the end of the 2nd level you have to take them then.  Basically a 9k freezeout but its up to you when you get all your chips.

Forgot to mention something I foudn very funny yesterday.

During the break in the shootuout I went into the Full Tilt private lounge to see what it was like and grab some food.  As I walked in I sawq John Juanda sitting down on the sofas talking to someone and he didnt look too happy, then as I walked round the corner there was a table of the top pro's from Full tilt.  A huge buffet of fresh fruit was next to them and I overheard their conversation as I was at the buffet.  Gus Hansen was moaning about some guy, who is apparently an awful razz player and fished out on him in the HORSE event.  Chris Ferguson, John Juanda and Andy Bloch all then started saying how this guy had really pissed them off and they all started relaying bad beat stories.  I found it quite amusing that even at the highest level they still moan about their bad beats during the breaks from their comps Smiley

Well I was going to "chill" today in the 102 degree heat by the pool but when I got there at around 11.45 am I found that virtually every one of the 1020 sun beds was taken and there was literally no standing room in the pool either.  Was quite a sight seeing the place so busy.  Off i trotted to the MGM to play the 2/5 game and walked away with a $1200 profit which was nice.  Although one hand really made me chuckle: -

I raised with  to $20 and got 4 callers, pretty standard.

Flop of       two spades , some guy leads into me for $45, I raise to $185 and he ships for another $90 on top.

I sure got there and he flips  for no hand no draw really but is sadly good and makes me wonder just how many outs I actually needed against him.

Just been up to the Rio to check how the $1500 is going and sadly there is 520 left and I couldnt see any Shrewdies, Blackbelt team, Julian and Trick left but I could only see about half the tables.

Early night tonight before the $3k triple chance tomorrow.

Hi i hear you on the Flamingo pool, we heard it was superb and was goner stay there for that reason, long story but we didn't in the end.

We went to have a look to see what we were missing and the answer was nothing.  It was choc-a-block and looked like  a scene from a 18-30 beach party.  Ok if you like that kind of thing i suppose Smiley

Well not the greatest of days today but still very enjoyable.

Woke up at 9 by the maids and then eventually got up at 10.30 so I could grab some brekkie from the full tilt room before the comp at 12.  Went down to the taxi place to get a ride up to the rio to see a huge cue, forgot it was sunday and looks were checking out.  So was forced into getting a Limo for $40 as wouldnt arrive in time.  So off I went in the limo in my Full Tilt gear.  Pulled up at the rio at the Poker entrance and was greated by some little Chinese kid who asked for my autograph.  I didnt have the heart to tell him I wasnt a pro so I signed away and off he ran to his Dad saying "I got it".  Bless Smiley

Got my to my table and was pretty happy with it.  Table was very soft apart from a Stars pro in seat one and Mr O'Dea to my left.  After a round of the button one guy had shown to be an idiot so I targeted him and about a round later I managed to get 3 streets of value out of him with JJ on a 10 high board.  Then Layne Flack came to sit in seat 10, two to my left.  First hand he flopped a set and then within one round he then had AA, KK and AK and got action everytime.

I got the first break with around 11k from the 9k start and had started to work most of the table out.  I then got in a hand with Flack, with it folded round to me on the button I raised with A3 off.  Flack flatted and check the ace high flop with 2 diamonds, I checked behind.  Blank on the turn saw me get check raised which I called and Flack led for 2k on the river when the flush draw filled up.  I called and he mucked so was no sitting pretty with around 19k.

About a round later an active player raised UTG to 550, I flatted with  and the stars pro flatted on the button.  Board came   two spades HELLO!!!!  UTG led for 825, I flatted, BUtton pumped to 4150, UTG folded and I shoved for 19K.  Button had me covered by 1k and reluctantly called.  He flipped  to kill most of my outs but I was happy to see any 4 or 5 werre good too.  Quenn came on the river to leave me thin and blank on the river to leave me out.  Sadly a 40k didnt go my way when the average was around 12k.  Maybe I could have played it differently but im surprised he raised with the flush into a UTG bet and a flat.

I have registed for the $1500 tomorrow after Channing telling me just how soft it was.

On British news Karl, Richie Allen and Stu Rutter all seemed to be going well in the $3k triple chance and one of the blackbelt team was deep in the $1500 from Saturday.

I met up with Tikay and the sky team earlier and they want to start there filming tomorrow so could be an interesting day.
