Girgles - you have a lot of Jacket potatoes when you're in health mode - can I ask why?

They are carbs obv so not the greatest for helping to lose weight. Maybe a small portion of brown rice is better.

I thought rice was a carb too? (Hope it's not)

It is, just brown rice is a bit healthier than a big jacket potato which I assume Girgy puts butter on. I also said a small portion so he'd prob be taking in less carbs than a little brown rice. The brown rice was a suggestion of another carb rather than replacing it, which would be better. So Girgles if you wanna scrap the jacket for some cottage cheese, gogogo

I have a jacket potato cos it's better than fish & chips and mcdonalds

I don't have butter on but I do have a bit of cheese and cottage cheese on it!!

Like soviet said in an earlier post it's about making small changes so ATM jacket potatoes>>>>>>>junk food!

Yeah Girgy seems sensible, as a fat lad myself who has tried dieting myself. Torturing yourself by eating stuff you don't like is never going to work.

If you don't like brown rice but do like Jacket potatoes, the EV of eating the latter is much better long term.

I've never been one to really pay much attention to fuel prices. However, in December I did realise how much i'd spent on fuel and decided I needed to try and drive less. Since then it's gone up a lot. Also, my insurance jumped by a few hundred this year. Add road tax and mot on top of that and I'm wondering whether I should really bother with my car. I could probably live without it.

There's a place called glasshoughton close to me which is the home of the Xscape ski slope also where I go to the gym but it has four petrol stations within a half mile radius and they all differ greatly in price of diesel...

asda   133.9
Total   135.9
BP      139.9
Murco 142.9

Dunno how anybody would fill up at the murco Huh?
