Play has recently gotten underway on the final table of the Unibet Open, where the final table are playing for a first prize of £187,000.

The Line Up

Seat 1 - Alex Kielman - UK - 261,500
Seat 2 - Marek Sokol - Poland - 126,500
Seat 3 - Dan Muraria - Romainia - 403,500
Seat 4 - Rafal Arendt - Poland - 442,000
Seat 5 - Contstantine Can - Sweden - 337,000
Seat 6 - Thierry Bolleret - France - 157,000
Seat 7 - Thanh Doan - Finland - 706,500
Seat 8 - Samlane Phomveha - France - 109,500
Seat 9 - Mohamed Muse - UK - 115,500

Patrick Hakkinen is calling the action after a very lively walk on. No huge hands yet, but a couple of all ins and no calls from short stacks.

Despite usually remaining impartial, I am supporting Mo Muse today.

Double Up for Mo Muse - get in there!

The first all in and call of the day saw Mo holding pocket aces to Constantine Can's pocket sevens. Aces hold and Mo moves up to over 200,000 and back in contention.

The blinds are 3,000-6,000 with a monkey running ante.

Two players out now and sadly one of them is Mo. He doubled down with AK v JJ then got it all in with 5-3 only to be called by 8-9. Mo exits in 8th place. A few hands earlier Marek Sokol departed in 9th.

Been a bit slow recently. Its fair to call it an uneventful last hour. Dena, who is going back on the TV table after the forthcoming break promises she will liven it up. Will she dance naked on the table? Tune in to the Unibet Open site to find out.

The pace of play remains slow in this next level, which has blinds of 5,000-10,000 and running antes of 1,000. The dinner break will be at the end of this level, in about 30 minutes. There are still 6 players left but wait an all-in..

..and a call. Frenchman Samlane Phomveha was all in with pocket sevens for his tournament life against Poland's Rafal Arendt who had queens. A seven on the flop and the large French contingent on the rail went crazy. Samlane doubles up and play continues.

Dinner break is now well and truly underway. Meanwhile Tikay and Compo are doing their last of the summer poker routine for the Sky's In Poker show. Play will recommence in 45 minutes.

Apologies, have not been able to keep this up due to other commitments here today. Suffice to say the place is packed and with 4 players left the atmosphere is building towards an exciting finish. 4 players left - Samlane Phomveha, Thank Doan, Alex Kielman and Contsantine Can.

Got to say, these are fun events and if you want to go somewhere different in Europe and not have to pay quite so much (qualifying or direct BI) then these (or something like Betsson Estoril) are excellent value for money. The play is pretty soft but it's good fun and these sites do take care of you when you're over there.
