I guess it depends how passive the other players are not been told who i am up against yet but smashing it out the gate sounds good to me, its basically winner take all and i could care less about hanging around getting short stacked for the sake of TV time. take any edge i can yeah flushy?
Brag: just found out i get $500 for traveling expenses straight into my stars account(for a 90 mile drive) and a night in citywest hotel dublin. happy days

Everyone saying play tight early is just wrong, smash out the gates, i won a heat with this exact structure just get yourself to 130-150 ASAP so you can afford to lose a showdown at 2-4/3-6
Talk me thru the fold of AQ to someone who has just open shoved 2 hands off a nano stack and you know is capable of shoving ATC

Given how bad the players were on my left (had Frazer and Wheatley??) i thought best of it and keep taking down pots by opening. Having said that to your reply to you post, i would never fold AQ to a nano stack who shoves ATC.

(cant remember how many chips he had). Therefore not an ideal opponent? meh i thinking out loud - dotn worry about responding if you cba - will have to watch again

Errm it wasn't i played every hand of the heat, you might have seen 1/7 hands on the telly, i think its close but i make the same fold if the situation came up again. Ha just read that sentence back and seems quite confrontational, only because i was quite pissed off about the fold after i found out what he had as it was him who bust me in 3rd in the Semi which we are talking about, as such i did a lot of thinking about the hand and at first thought it was a call but realised i was a results orientated fish and fold is fine. Wheatley was yeah loose bad, thats cool though as he just peels with hands that play bad post and so has to keep giving up the pots.

Bit of a crap structure, you'd think it wouldn't be much more hassle to have a slower structure and just edit out all the boring hands.

in fairness its a TV show and they want to film 3 heats in a day, its not the world series and im not complaining as it only cost me 100 fpp! probably better for me with a quick structure anyway.
