I know it this is not cooked at home but if any of you are passing through Huddersfield and fancy a really good Caribbean meal, this place is the dog's. The owner did a tour with Rhodes, then he has come 2nd on Ramsey's The F word, to be screened in Nov.

To be fair, deffo Kev's best effort by a country mile.

Cf's are impressive from start to finish but basically the same thing every week - and starting to get a bit boring.  You can cook a mean curry...we get it.  Now try something new.

Cia's chicken looks like it was sliced by a chain saw.  Gravy is a bit watery and wtf is that veg mix?!

Don't know about judging for this week.  It's going to be close.  Pity Mo didn't post her pics as I reckon she would have walked it.

Will do next week Smiley

Though in my defence this is only the second curry i've posted..

But it looks the same as your stir fry.......

What do you do with the leftovers? Microwaved tomorrow?

I get the feeling we might be seeing a little bit of effort on one day preparing 3 days worth of food?

There's 3 of us in my house. Me and my housemates take turns cooking. I usually cook 3 and a bit portions.

And here's the rest of it.

First up the rice. Made with onions, turmeric, paprika, and orange. I fried the onion and spices in a frying pan with some oil. Then add the rice and orange juice. Mix all up, add water, and fry for 15 minutes with the lid on.

Once that's done I add some fresh coriander to it and leave to stand for 5 minutes. I also add coriander to the curry.

And here's the final product. I need to get some better plates because my presentation sucks Sad

aunt bessies spuds, yorkies, frozen veg, paxo stuffing and watery gravy

bet morrisons are more appealing

and this just in..

Don’t want to hear any more, and yes I did carve it with a blunt knife! If you dare tell them that I cooked that really yummy dinner that we both enjoyed, you are gonna be in trouble. Have no wish to hear about competition that I had no idea I was entering! You can cook from now on so I don’t get caught again.

Mwah xx

Mate that's so bad.

Can't even take a hit for the missus....
