If I never manage to final in the £5 rebuy, will I qualify for the Blondie League thingy?

FYP

Oops, OK      .....          I take it the League is restricted to the more experienced and successful m/board members then.

Anyhow, I believe I'm making solid progress after getting down to the last two tables in the 'Sunday Five' - it won't be too long before I start climbling the 'tournament ladder' towards you lot LOL !

One question though - why are so many of the players in the £100 Freezeout so scruffy?

If I didn't know better, I could have mistaken them for a gang of navvies going off to lay some Tarmac on the M1.

I refer you to my learned friend the chompster and his ironing ability

This thread just gets better & better. Chomps one-liners are so com, they stand reading again & again - he's a very funny (& hairy) man indeed. And those nicknames he dreams up are simply golden - "British Gas" & so forth; great great stuff.

And the League takes a fair bit of work to Update & Report, but Chomps does it bang on time, every time, with just the perfect amount of humour, judging the mood "just so".

I don't get to Luton much now, but this thread is one of the first I read every day - it's proper "old-style" blonde - poker with a smile. If every thread was run this well & in this mood.....

If an alien asked me to demonstrate the blonde Forum ethos - this is the Thread I'd show them first.

So, being in one of those fatalistic moods today, I just wanted to say now, while it's on my mind - thanks Chomps, you are a ledge.

PS - Sorry, there's no punchline.

Well Luther, I wore a suit to Friday's £75 comp. I should have been given a prize IMO.

I have heard a rumour that some Luton G players shop at Matalan.

And so you should.

And that marks the end of me being nice to you.

Hostilities may now be resumed.

A field off 22 for last night's £20 rebuy, which would have meant points on offer. I so nearly played it too. Meh.
