Goodness   .....   that's a bit harsh Mr Chumpy - I also play, once a week, at Luton (having just taken up poker) but not at the heights of you top players - a Friday £75 buy in is a bit steep for me - but I have graually progressed in my 'regular tournie' (the £5 rebuy on Sundays).

Whenever I've had such a bad beat as you've just had, my 'trick' is go online to rebuild my confidence.

I play a few hours on Facebook Poker (it's FREE), and that makes me realise that I am really quite a good player.

It might be a helpful idea to try to boost your belief in yourself Mr Chumpy      .....   it always works for me!

Enfield Municipal Sauna doesn't have a board room, otherwise Sweaty Terry would have got the gig four times a year of course.
At the moment meetings are being held in the St Neots Farmers' Union bar but we're currently looking for a new location for 2010.

I'd like to apply for 2010.
Can u pls PM me the application form Chumpy. I am assuming it is a formal application where all applications are vetted.
Do I need to send my passport as proof of ID?
I will then go and buy a fax machine so that once I have completed the application form, I will fax it you.
I hoping that I can complete my application by November 18th.
