Aaaaaaah, you guys! I've pulled myself together enough to make a speech.
I'd like to thank my agent. Also, Celtic for thinking of the league idea and Sir Donksalot for giving me endless comedy material with which to work, as well as British Gas for teaching me how to sit at a poker table looking like Princess Leia. Meh, there are just too many to thank. Nirvana and Mr McBink for coming on in leaps and bounds. TFOP for breaking the magic three barrier over the course of a year. TV's Tikay for being a legend. The list goes on and on.
Thanks for the gesture, though, really imo. What I'll do is play tomorrow's donkament and put any returns behind the bar on New Year's Day. Enjoy your tap water with ice imo.
I'm actually going to play properly. No four-betting Mr Unimaginative with four six suited utg. Properly I tells ya.

Somehow managed to negotiate 1st place points whilst still 4 left despite interference from Mr Allin 'Lucky' McBink who actually failed to bink with AK V QQ button v small blind. Though to be fair he did get very lucky before that cruelly outdrawing MDD's pocket 4's with 10's!!  Don't know how I got the points but if you don't ask, you don't get. Well done also to Pizzled who came back from 6 bb's at 600/1200 to be there at the end and also to let me have the points obv.

Shortest stack of the 3 by someway and he manages to appear as though he's doing them a favour when he agrees to take £1,200 each and play for the rest, whilst also taking the official 1st prize.

That was just after I'd made the mistake of doubling him up when I called his all in and found that my AJ was no match for his A9!

Otherwise, it's looking as though Celtic is beginning to put his stamp on second place and the accompanying runner-up trophy after another 'win'.
