wasnt too bad they put all the levels in and there were a lot of weak rookie type players there..was pillaging my table with abandon until i decided it was good idea to 4 bet shove into a station who would nt give up 10's had him covered but never got back in it...sure it would crap shooty at some stage but 65 runners has to be good news

Pah, went in for the £50 freeze out. Paid 5, final tabled. All in with AJ against Appu's 10's binked the A on the river. Couldn't put down AK to a reraise, flat called, missed the flop and lost my chips to queens. Goodnight all. Still it's a final table so getting better!

Lots of talk about the £20 rebuy - main thoughts in the room were it would be better on a Thursday but they hope it will take off with numbers increasing as people get used to it.

Just got Home Came 8th .......................Im On Big Blind with QQ.......................Blinds 1000- 2000.............
Dennis Barnes who just lost a big Pot Goes all in for 6500 chips  under the gun  then there is a reraise all in by a loose goose ........i was not prepared to Pass my hand however his all in was putting me All in except for 500 Chips ......I called

Dennis has 88 ........The Reraise had A 9 ...yes i said A 9 ....i had QQ and on the turn comes the dreaded Ace Sending Dennis and i Spinning out the Comp 9th and 8th  got £50 for my Troubles ............................

The All in with A9 Said he went All In to get Heads up with Dennis despite the fact he was not even winning and possibly end up doubling up Dennis ................Well if he had a hand i can understand but to go all in for 22000 chips with A 9 was Risky to say the least with other players behind to Act ( WP Sir)  as Dennis was all in for 6500  ............. I was not prepared to put down my QQ so i got bashed up in the Cross Fire...........At least i made the Final and i had enjoyed the game ,  turnout a little low with 38  runners and the Card Room was like a hot House as the Air Con had packed in But i was pleased to play after a long absence ..................When i left British Gas was still in as was Rochelle Alterman ......

Don't mind the play with 10 bb ..A 9 is well aheadof the desperate short shove..depends how many to act after him..  but he knows someones really gonna have a big hand behind him to make the call... he was unlucky u did and u were unlucky he outdrew you.... those the breaks ian but congrats on getting off the mark !
