More like he spent half the day in the aquarium but didn't want to post that.

How did you only get on three rides??
Ace: I think it depends how many times you've been on them - Oblivion gets boring pretty quickly but Nemesis is still good This imo. The first time on oblivion is awesome as when they hang you over the vertical drop it really gets your juices flowing but after a few time it is just one drop. Whereas Nemesis has a more sustained enjoyment.

Was quite late getting there so only had about 4.5 hours in total.
Just had a nice chilled day, walked about a bit, queued a bit, ate at the eat as much as you can pizza place and had a few beers.
I can't be doing with rushing round to get on as many rides as possible. If I want to do more I'll just go again.
3 rides was more than enough. Air was definitely a disappointment but the other 2 were constant smiles. The acceleration on Rita is amazing!!
Oh, and aquariums are amazing.

Massive sigh at today's training. Was doing a decent shoulders session when I felt a crunch in my neck which I knew from experience was a huge muscle tear. I stopped immediately and left the gym but could feel it tightening up even as I drove home. I've stocked up on painkillers to hopefully get me through poker tomorrow but I think training will be off for a little while. To be honest it might not be a bad thing to have a little break. I've done 10 weeks straight now so the rest could be good. I'm suddenly feeling very pleased that I was lenient with Cos and his injured wrist. Looks like a week off the prop

I'm finally going to restart a regime today. Currently weigh about 16 stone. Firat aim will be to get to 14 stone by the time I go to Vegas, at the end of April
Fail haven't got enough training sessions in. Have only lost a stone. Only ran the past 2 weeks, though finding the running very easy, pissing 5 miles

Little update on my back.
I injured it 3 weeks ago now and I'm still struggling with it. I went for physio 2 weeks ago but he wasn't my usual guy and to be honest I wasn't overly impressed.
I've managed to get booked in with my regular physio on Monday so hopefully he can get me fixed.
I've not trained at all for 3 weeks and I really want to get back on it next week.
My plan is to start on Monday no matter what happens at physio. Hopefully I won't make myself any worse but I can't stay away any longer.

I've made a decision that I'm going to combine starting back after an injury with a bit of a detox.
My training had been going well but I've not done anything at all regarding diet so I'm going to have a bit of a push for a month or two.
My goal for this will be simply to lose a few inches of my waist. I can't really do a weight loss thing because I don't actually want to lose any weight. I'm currently 16st 5lb but I'm carrying a lot more fat than I like. Ideally I'd like to be a similar weight but with less fat / more muscle.
The easiest way to guage fat loss is by my waist measurement so that's what I'm going to use as a target.
I used to have a 33" waist which I think may be pushing it a bit but I think 34" should be achievable.
I'll be sorting a few details out over the next couple of days ready to start properly on Monday.
The main thing will be cutting out the crap food and unfortunately the alcohol.
It's difficult to do but I know that if I don't drink I can achieve my goal quite easily.
I'm going to measure my waist regularly and log it on here. I'll also include my weight just to see how that's going.

Sigh can't imagine how annoying it must be to get an injury that stops you training upper body completely. I'm just going into a detox now, I've drunk more in the last month than I have this year and I really need to take it down a notch before Vegas and get this last stone off. I got down to 14st 12 from my 16st 7 start in January a few weeks ago and have only put on 4lbs with a couple weeks of poor diet and loads of drinking. I'm working Sat and Sunday so there'll be no more drinking now for a while. I have been able to curb myself to almost exclusively drinking Vodka & Diet Coke which is the lesser of evils regarding alcohol. I have 7 weeks until Vegas so hopefully it's possible but if not I should be able to get close to it. Like you Matt I dont' really want to lose weight per se merely reduce my bodyfat to a reasonable level. I'm never going to be one to adhere to the competition diets these guys who shoot for single figure bodyfat, nor am I blessed with teh genetics of these b'stards who can muller anything and everything in sight whilst not putting on a lb Hope the physio goes well and they get you sorted out once and for all!!
