Looks like I'm the only hardy soul braving the freeroll. What's to do in Luton on a Bank Holiday Monday between 3.15 and 7.30?
Luton Town play host to Grays Athletic today,Kick off:3pm
Lutons last 3 home games have seen the Town score 16 goals so may be worth a trip Claw
Best priced at 18-1 on a 5-0 home victory, and an attractive 200-1 on a repeat recent 8-0 victory,as Luton are at full strength with 2 new strikers on the bench these seem to be very generous odds indeed
Why not take a walk into the wonderfull Mall centre located in the middle of town?
Opened in 1972,this famous landmark has over 100 shopping units to view inside
Originally named the "Arndale Centre" it was bought by new owners in 2006 and renamed "The Mall"
Despite the name change,it has lost none of its elegance and charm and hosts many famous high street brands within its walls
The "Galaxy centre" located on the west side of Town, has a wonderfull modern air conditioned cinema
Merely a five minute walk from the "Mall" you can view many of todays latest hit movies in very comfortable surroundings
Luton has many excellant eateries, from Chinese to Indian,Afro-Caribean to traditional English dishes, food selections of all tastes are catered for
The Brewery tap pub just down the road from the G has excellant home cooked food,i can vouch for the ales served as being as good as any in the Town
That said, having seen the state of the chef at 5am this morning, today may not be the best day to sample the food at said establishment
If pokers you thing,G-man normally runs a £1-£1 DC game from mid-afternoon for newbies interested in learning the game
Entrance is capped at £20, so why not come on down and learn Dealers Choice in a friendly atmosphere with you host Graham Rogers?
We hope you enjoy your visit to Luton, and look forward to seeing you again soon....
catching up on last few days thread content this morning, and much lol'age at this from mr R Star, the newly crowned Luton tour guide (ex weather-man cos Lucky got him the sack from that job)
