Look, for the avoidence of doubt I am sure drainy is a wonderful warm human being, who on the right night at luton,(say a £5.00 rebuy for halfwits, students, the Tom mylands of this world, and any one else short of a few chromosomes)) would be wonderful company, I would go as far as to say if I met him on the street I would probably say "good morning drainy, how are you? before leaping under the nearest vehicle as he starts to tell me about his day, but honest to god reading his post's automatically gets me thinking of a gallon of unleaded, or how high exactly is the roof of the town hall ? I start wondering about exactly how fast the 2-20 to milton keynes would really have to be travelling to make it a quick clean end Huh?
I say again Drainy open a blog, we could go into business, www. acureforinsomniawithoutdrugs.com £20.00 subscription charge, our guarantee **** If your still awake after reading three posts we'll give you your money back and a free gallon of smooth burn and a box of swan vestas****

I am sorry Mr Krik, but that is bang out of order, quite uncalled for, & most importantly, inaccurate as to detail, & I take deep offence at the slur you cast.

Let me correct you, & I advise you to listen up, & listen up good.

The fact is this.

There is no "2.20 to Milton Keynes".

Do you mean the 2.05, via London St Pancras (Domestic), & Euston?

Or the 2.34, change at Bedford & Bletchley?

Scenically, the latter is preferred, but for a chance to enjoy the splendour of the newly-restored St Pancas (Domestic), I recommend the former.

Full details are available here.....

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Please also note that train times use the 24 hour clock.*

* Television, interestingly, uses a 27 hour clock, which if you think about it, is a neat trick. Details on application.

Whatever about tea, trains and time clocks.  I've a more important question.

Sainsbury's taste the difference burgers - did you in fact taste the difference?

yeah - taste pretty much like homemade but without the hassle and (maybe it's just me) high risk of falling apart on cooking.  currently on offer for 2 packs of four for a fiver.  get in quick.

Surely you have a bird tale to add to the mix?  Go on then.  With all that other drivel, we really could do with spicing the place up a bit.

The ENG scheduling is a thing of beauty, but is quite complex, as many TV Programmes "cross" Midnight, which makes the schedule awkward to construct, with modern software unable to accept a single Show which spans two seperate calender dates. (All IT peeps are unreliable fuckwits).

So to overcome it, our day finishes at 27.00, being 0300 (3am) to ordinary people like you, the general public. So we - Television types - do not have a 0100, 0200, or 0300, & the day begins at 0400. Which in TV Terms, is written as 0400.

Laxie, trust me my day pales into insignificance compared to some of the rip rollocking adventures people are posting, how can I compete with a visit to a phone shop, or the neatness of shrubs in welwyn garden city? How we haven't split our sides as we are regaled by stories of people being locked out, or whether to have tea or coffee, or for that matter what time the 14-07 gets to fucking exeter is a mystery to me!

Yet another girl's hopes and dreams of a bird tale dashed.  Harsh, to be fair.  I genuinely was interested.  Oh well.  Will go sulk in the corner now.  Sigh.

As for you Drainy...hush!  You had yer go.  Give other people a chance ffs!

I checked, it's 13.48 or 14.05.

The latter leaves 17 minutes later, but interestingly, arrives 22 minutes later.
