Those with a few pounds in their WH account should take the evens for Musical Gaga to win the TV Trophy, fantastic greyhound and the price is OOL with lots of 4/6 about. Heats tonight, final on Sky next Wed.

Bubbly Swallow returned SP 4/1, BF SP 8.67.

Cheers Ralph, but we were all in on the one that got smashed out on the first bend Sad

Sorry mate not intended as a rub just a dig at stingy bookies.

Haha, I know mate and was just messing Smiley

Hopefully tikay got a decent result tonight, he reads a lot of my stuff and wrote this on the final earlier....

"In my eyes it is impossble to see a way for Musical Gaga to lose this race, she has been running that well. In fact, the 1/2 at Paddy Power is likely a good price for those who are happy backing short-priced greyhounds.

If pushed for something as an alternative, I’d perhaps go for an each way bet on Blonde Reagan in the hope that somehow Farloe Tango doesn’t get running. bet365 offer the best each way terms and you can get almost 7/1 about Reagan finishing in the top two."

Had a good night thanks to you, Scott, though I swerved Gaga.

Made Airtech Alfie my main bet, missed the 3/1, but got 5/2 with Laddies and 2/1 with Wm Hill.

I enjoy your BetPal stuff.

Final of the Brighton Belle tonight. Bridge Ruth is too short so taking her on with the 3/1 Jaytee Jules.

Rest of Hove card is ok, Islas Scolari is my best bet, running in the 9:06 race.

All on RPGTV. Any views?

Sheffield's Steel City Cup has a pretty good field, first round is this evening. Express Master who we backed in TfT for the Sussex Cup goes again but I'm not too sure about his first round chances - drawn in four with old rival Loughteen Blanco directly inside. Could get messy. Can't back him.

Went for Kowloon Conner @ 16s (BetFred/Totesport) and Airlie Impact @ 10s.

And I really like both for their heats this evening at 5/2 and 5/4 respectively. I'm on, but really having to hold back from going in much bigger on Airlie.

Kowloon Conner goes in the final and is as short as 3/1 and generally 4/1. Got a good chance I think.

Only previewed final but will have a look at rest of the card in a bit, quite important to get early prices on Sky Sports nights.

Good luck with this, Scott.

Will you be assessing any other races there this evening? Did quite well last week.

Didn't really have much of a chance, very busy day.

Had one other bet, trying Toystory King in the 9:04.

Yourself?

Hey doggers.

In a purely self-interested 'what can you do for me' post I'm going to the Greyhound Derby night at Shelbourne Park tomorrow so any tips you have for the big race or elsewhere on the card to make me appear a super-knowledgeable type would be cool.

It's been years since I was at the dogs so I'm quite looking forward to it.

Took a month off from writing as I've got a new job but back at it now and have had some decent results in the last week or so. The heats of the Olympic are my focus today and if anyone fancies a bet you can watch it for free on the RP website, or (I think) channel 212 on Sky.

8:34 – T6 Dinner Hunter @ 7/2 bet365

8:50 – T1 Jaytee Lightning @ 2/1 Ladbrokes

9:06 – T3 Jaytee Jules @ 2/1 Totesport

9:24 – T4 Express Master @ 7/2 Ladbrokes

Also like Dinner Hunter (33s) and Lightning (12s) as EW bets in the outrights, both with Ladbrokes.

A little more analysis in the links below if you fancy.

If you fancy going through any particular card for Saturday night, might I completely randomly suggest Wimbledon?

No reason
