Took a month off from writing as I've got a new job but back at it now and have had some decent results in the last week or so. The heats of the Olympic are my focus today and if anyone fancies a bet you can watch it for free on the RP website, or (I think) channel 212 on Sky.

8:34 – T6 Dinner Hunter @ 7/2 bet365

8:50 – T1 Jaytee Lightning @ 2/1 Ladbrokes

9:06 – T3 Jaytee Jules @ 2/1 Totesport

9:24 – T4 Express Master @ 7/2 Ladbrokes

Also like Dinner Hunter (33s) and Lightning (12s) as EW bets in the outrights, both with Ladbrokes.

A little more analysis in the links below if you fancy.

Thanks Scott, will have a small interest later.

Both of the 2/1 chances obliged, with Jaytee Lightning going off at 4/6 (!!!!) and winning in an impressive time. That's good for the outright recommend, so is the short priced favourite, Exocet, going out. Dinner Hunter through too.

Guinness Spark flew round in the 4th heat to win that at 10/1 in the second fastest time of the year it seems.

One day!

Didn't get a chance to post the UFC 166 article in the MMA thread Mark but popped it on TfT so hopefully you saw. Had the 13/5 Boetsch points as headline bet and the 4/1 Melendez/Sanchez FotN which if they fought again tomorrow would be odds on!!!

Ha, I only saw the 10/1 Nelson to land his haymaker and got on that Sad

Great shout on the others though, especially the FOTN!

If you fancy going through any particular card for Saturday night, might I completely randomly suggest Wimbledon?

No reason

I'm actually really gutted that I'm not going tbh. When I was in London I was a banker but back in Dundee now and clashes with my brother's 21st.

As it happens, you guys picked a good night, first round of the St Leger. Got some stuff going up tonight on it. Or tomorrow first thing.

For those who got on, Jaytee Lightning now 3/1 fav.

St Leger heats tonight, Farloe Tango and Fear Emoski are my tops bets for their first round heats. Good luck to all blondes going to the track.

For anyone who followed, both made Thursday's final.

Nice one Scotty, hope you get weighed in the max!

I went looking for them after the first night, but couldn't see them anywhere.

Thanks Mark.

Usually market is down for a day after each round in these type of comps. Working on the Puppy Derby just now so will have some stuff up for that tomorrow.

Puppy Derby begins tonight at Wimbledon. Really tough, close field but I've went for 3:

Redbrick Stuart @ 15/2
Bubbly Charlie @ 16/1
King Dec @ 25/1

Stuart and Charlie exited at the first round stage but the headline tip, King Dec, won his heat. He has quite a tough semi-final on Saturday.

In other news, it is the final of the Coral Olympic tonight and my two selections, Jaytee Lightning (12s) and Dinner Hunter (33s), have made the final and are 15/8 and 14s best price. Jaytee has a great chance and Dinner Hunter has a very solid each way chance which was the original idea.
