Hey Tikay. Saw this on my phone at the time so tried to have a look but the only stuff that stood out was obvious stuff that you could see for yourself and even then they prob weren't back-able at the forecasted prices. Don't know why I didn't reply at the time, apologies.

Oaks and Laurels final tonight. Eden Star can pay for a chunk of my Xmas if it wins, I fancy him to do it. Jaytee Lightning is as short as 2/1 and has a tough draw to work from.

In the Oaks final, I'm taking a chance on the 12/1 Caribbean Trixie. Let's go!

Thanks for kind words Omm and for the good lucks. No joy but anyone who read my race previews will see that I read both races about right so I'm on the right track. Wasn't on Eden Star each way myself but did recommend doing so on BetPal iirc.

I would be very surprised if Droopys Odell did not go off at odds on for this race tonight, at the moment both b365 and 888 have him at 11/10. These are the heats for the Coronation Cup and he is outright Fav for it.

Scotty will know better and might pop along to disagree sooner or later.

Price for this is now best with 888 @ evens, I've mentioned on a different thread recently that 888 seem to be either slow at adjusting their prices or genuinely want to be best price, with that in mind the races at Romford between 8:02 and 9:06 they have their prices ool with all others on the favourites,  particularly  Jaytee Jules @ 9/4. Now I am in no way saying that all the favs are going to win but I can't have Jaytee at 9/4. I just think at the prices they are offering on these races they are a must bet, in hindsight they must have a very clever trader!

Hey Omm, thanks for the 888 pointer, I've not got an account there so will look out for a good opportunity to open one. Will have a look at the Coronation Cup before semis, annoyed with myself that I missed the opening round actually as knew it was on.

At Crayford tonight, I think the 6/1 at Ladbrokes about T2 Scientist in the 7:46 is too big. bet365 opened at 3/1 co-fav. Likely leader based on recent sectionals, and has led last 3 races, two of which have been at this grade. Consistent on the clock, the 24:33s from two runs back would more than likely win this. Hopefully the ones coming on late don't get clear runs. Think it's a big price.

2nd. Quite unlucky. Traps best, paces up, looked to move right which let 1 through but then we looked to be going past before finding a smidge of trouble.

Coronation Cup semis tonight - went for Hometown Honey and Ilewin Frimley in the outrights. I know Omm likes Jaytee Jules but I didn't fancy her in a tough semi - they've tipped her in the RP today for the semi.

The semis of the Coro Cup are free to watch tonight on RPGTV on the RP website. Think it's 212 on Sky.

Whilst I like Hometown Honey for the 2nd semi, I've been trying to decipher the first semi-final for most of the day, and still unsure. I can't see how there won't be a coming together between the inside three but after watching first round heats I think Odell in trap one might be able to squeeze round in front and obviously he wins from there.

Interestingly, in the third semi, Steves Dream runs who is now starting to perform really well at open level, he's one I tipped up on TfT at a big price (maybe 10s) at the end of last year. Think he has a chance at 9/2 in the last. Ayamzamodel too short.

Where's Omm? What you thinking about Jaytee Jules?

Hi Scotty

I think that first heat is worthy of being the final. Agree about Odell but then that could also be the case for Jules if it traps unlike the last heat. I'm pleased that the RP have gone with it. That being said if there is trouble on the inside reel trickyone and trap 6 - your betpal outsider will take the spoils. My thoughts are it will be Odell with either Jaytee or reel trickyone. whatever happens it will be a cracking race.

Quite happy with Hometown Honey in the second with Sidarian Jaguar and I know it's a short price but Ayamzamodel should qualify in the 3rd.

All that being said I've been away from the dogs for quite a while, was keen when I was younger, part owned a greyhound call "under the table" was given the share for a price of a gin and tonic when the guy who had it wasn't told it was running and was quite pee'd off - my gain! Apt name really as I worked in a pub at the time and the landlord and some regs were the syndicate, used to run at Catford. I think the trainer was Jason Weaver? Or something like that, his dad was a trainer as well. Really love the sport and have always Had a vision that one day I would be in a position to start training myself, who knows. Anyway I've started to take a keen interest again and for now will be happy just gathering information.

This picture brought back a few memories, used to go to the stadium 3 times a week, mostly with my dad, sometimes on my own and this would be the right hand side of the track as you walked through the turnstiles. Strange really because I only used that side once, I took a woman that I was seeing to the dogs but because I knew my dad would be there I took her the other side, well I didn't want my dad to know what I was upto, I was 17 and she was 32! You could image. Little did I know at the time my dad had seen us going in so knew although he didn't mention it until a few months later when I introduced him to her, at the dogs of course.
