More than happy with the 4 bigger priced ones I put up. Can't complain with Bombers running the second fastest time of the round. Owners seem to think he'll go well.
Already excited for the second round, and I'm off to Romford Friday.

Scotty what do you make of Rio Coco’s stats (particularly at Romford)
http://greyhoundstats.co.uk/open_runner_stats.php?dog=Rio%20Coco&period=2017
He is trained and owned by D Riordan, same trainer/owner who won a few years ago with Rio Quattro, a mare of mine knows him and gave me Quattro that year at 80 or 100/1 from memory. Beat Farloe Blitz in the final after not winning any of the rounds (Farloe hadn’t lost!) but just doing enough to qualify. Very much think his make up as a trainer is to keep them under the radar and get them spot on at the right time. Haven’t spoke to my mate yet but will do at some point to get a view. At 100/1 it’s probably a no brainer to have a cou0le of quid ew until I’m given more solid info. It’s one s like this that we need to look out for. More than capable of pulling of a coup as a trainer.

I was all set to reply negatively but a quick look would suggest that it actually has a similar profile to Quattro (same Romford time etc) so perhaps you're on to something. Obviously hope it doesn't get out the second round but with the withdrawal has the draw.

Any thoughts on Bull Run Button being 150/1 with 2 bookies, beats BF, you put him up at 125/1 and general price is 66/1. Wor5h another play?

I've actually went back in small on Calico Brandy, Newinn Shadow and Button - nothing has put me off after first round and if I'm right about them I want to be richer!

Just been looking at the prices for tmrw, think Sporting Dave goes off odds on and fred has it at 2.25, also with how Farren run last week it will probably get a lot of support this week even though it wasn't the greatest time for obvious reason. Fred also has him at 2.38 so have done the double.
Think I fancy taking on Whoops Jack just not sure what with yet. Gonna leave Bruisers and Brandy to battle it out, could leave a run for Jaguar if they battle too much. Will make a decision on a few others tmrw.

I quite like Murray's Act @~2/1 in the first.

Sporting Dave is now 2.5(6/4) with Fred, not sure why as it’s not a boosted price. Abit of a drift on top 3 in market and abit of blue on the others. I’m happy to bet at that price. So have had 8 pts win. Still think he goes off odds on and I’m pretty sure Hobbs put him up on ATR website as a decent chance. Up against scotty’s Newinn Shadow.

Truth Matters interests me. Gambled on last week and came 2nd, opened 13/1 this week and has seen money for it. From the 1st round in this heat he has the fastest sectional and fastest time. Not sure what to make of him, 400/1 avalaible in the outright.

Just seen fred has some derby specials and has farren and dave as a double at 5/1 which beats the double I put on last night. blurghh.

Bald has gone top by a mile most of the big rags again tonight. Wonder what his thinking is as he must have got filled in last week doing it.

Both the lads in the studio are with Newinn Shadow, they make a good case, should be a decent race.
