Not only are the administrators going to sell all our players, they are even picking the team now

Sigh it never nice seeing this happen but it is happening to so many clubs. It is absoutley farcical the situation most football clubs in this country have got themselves in, there has been some realism about players wages at some point as that is what is crippling clubs.
Norwich announced recently that we are 23 million in debt, apparantly that is a "manageble debt". It is ludicrous as I just don't see how we can get more revenue in than we do (short of getting back in the prem for the tv money), apparantly selling out every week for the last 5 years is not enough to stop us making a loss year on year.
Hope Palace get it sorted, as a club of similar size to ourselves.

And sods law an injury after just 4 minutes!!!
The thing is we done have another keeper. Flahaven the reserve keeper broke his jaw, so if Speroni is sold we will be playing the youth keeper as I'm pretty sure we wont be allowed to loan anyone!!!
Although 1-0 down at half time it sounds like we have been the better team.

I don't understand why you don't have your youth keeper on the bench. is he not registered? seems very odd

Don't know if you have ever watched Daryl Flahavan, but you probably wouldnt want him in goal. I used to watch him every week down Southend. But 1 his very short and stick's to his like alot and 2 loves to make "tv" reply saves and never go well lol. His a good keeper for League 1, but would 100% not want him in a relagation dog first, as proven by Southend's relagation from the CCC.
His too short for a keeper at that level, suprised he signed for CP to bench warm when he could of played week in week out at Southend this year, but Midenhall has been one of our best signings.
I know how you feel, we had to find 2.1 Million in 24 hours to not go into Admin and Winding up order, just show's how great fans of football can be when they need to pull together...

I thought Moses was the real deal judging by the press? How come only Championship teams seem to be in for him?

Having seen Moses play regularly for the last couple of seasons i am gobsmacked that he doesnt seem to be on his way to one of the big boys.
When i see Man U paying £7 odd million for a Fulham centre half who has played half a dozen games i can only assume it is because Moses is playing in the Championship.
He already has amazing skills, scores great goals and works hard for the team. OFf the pitch he is a model pro who never causes any trouble.
Maybe the likes of Arsenal and Man C are holding out till the last minute but Wigan seem to be in the box seat at the moment.

Yesterdays match was amazing. The atmosphere inside the ground was the best since the Bristol City play off game a couple of seasons ago. At one point the chant of 'Stand up if you love Palace' went around the whole ground with all 4 stands full of people standing and singing.
The game itself was a good performance. Posh had a couple of early chances with Clyne heading one of the line, but once Palace got ahead there was only going to be one winner. Posh were very poor and have no chance of staying up based on that performance.
An emotional moment after the game when Neil Warnock got all the Palace players in the centre circle and they approached all four stands as a team and applauded the fans. The fans and players are united as one and will get through this, hopefully by 5.00pm tomorrow night we wont have lost more than Moses and possibly one other.
Looking forward to the home match against Wolves on Tuesday night in the FA Cup.

I am actually quite shocked that it appears that we havent sold or loaned out anyone (except Flahaven to Oldham) today.
Was expecting at least Moses + 2 more to leave.
There is the possibility that this will mean we wont raise the cash to complete the season and some of the management will have to go. If this was the case though surely the administrators would have forced through a couple of sales.
By all accounts they agreed a fee with Wolves for Nathaniel Clyne but he refused to even speak to them - fair play to the guy and another that will always get the full respect of Palace fans along with Moses.
My own personal view is that a lot depends on tomorrow night - IF we beat Wolves we get £90k prize money. We are then guarenteed £250k for TV money for the match against Villa plus about £150 from our share of gate receipts, amounting to about £1/2 million. If we lose then i think 3 or 4 players will be loaned out for the rest of the season.
For tonight at least though i am very happy.

still time matt, window open in scotland for another 4 hours
the 2.5m for moses should be enough to keep you going though. I'd have thought danns would've been benched for the last 2 games as well if you'd needed to sell
