Reminds me of a kind of similiar incident that happened to me once:

Had a good friend in the RAF, one year he invited me back tho his mate's NY Eve party in Kent, it was a big barn type thing with live music etc. Never being one to turn down a party i obliged. Met at his house, then he drove us to his mate's farm in the middle of nowhere. As we were both drinking we were gonna just crash at his mates.

The only person i knew was the mate i went with, i didn't want to cling onto him all night so i thought i would get to know some people. Some of them seemed ok, but the majority were students, hippees, druggies, left wing liberaltarians fuck the system types. etc. At the time i was pretty against drugs due to a number of external factors. One girl didn't take too kindly to me refusing a joint that she shoved in my face. but that was by the by. One guy asked me why i joined the forces and if i am happy being a puppet for "our corrupt government"....

He then starts going on about " the legal system is just an oppression device set up by the man ", i exclaimed " so if you went home tonight and your mother or sister had been raped, you wouldn't want any justice " [ ] he made a sensible reply. he genuinely started spouting stuff about Nostradamous.

Roll on a couple more hours it was clear this wasn't going to be the best party i had ever been to. Then this small dark hair girl comes over to me and asks me to join her in her caravan. Result! this could end up being a decent night.. few mins later we are in the caravan 'tashin on'...  when the door suddenly bursts open and in enters her bf. obv it is the 'puppet master' from earlier. sigh.

i say "sorry mate i didn't know she had a bf etc etc", [ ] this calmed him down. for the amount of weed this kid had put away he was pretty angry. he tried to grab and i pushed him out of the door. unbeknownst to me a crowd of his peers had gathered outside, including the mate i came with. my mate then grabs me and starts saying " i invite you to a party, then you try nail my friends' gf and kick off " All this shit

had pretty much sobered me up, don't get me wrong, i think i am a very relaxed and i like to think an accomadating guy, it is rare for me to back down from a fight but i thought this was the wise option. I took my bottle of baileys and cigars and slept in his tiny Citroen saxo. Once i explained myself in the morning saying i didn't know she had a bf etc etc, my mate was fine, he apologised and i politely declined any further invitation.

Roll on 7yrs and it is his wedding day, there are a few of the people that were there including the guy. [ ] he remembered it happening, [ ] he is with the girl, [ x ] he caught her cheating on him got pregnant and claimed it was his, [ x ] he apologised.


This trip down memory lane brings me to the long winded point that if your mate is still being a dick once you have presented all the evidence then he can gtfo.

I watched a couple of interesting documentaries on 4od the other day. One was about Pablo Escobar but was told by his son and his wife, was really interesting, his son basically told how he was ashamed of what his father had done, imagine the rep you'd instantly get tarred with being the son of someone like that. He met up with three of the sons of politicians that his Dad had killed, pretty uncomfortable spot to be in. They other was about John Aspinall, intersting character to say the least. It was mostly about the club he had in Mayfair where only the richest people would be allowed in, talk about degen's, some knocking in there whole net worth the equivalent of £millions today, losing there estate's etc, sicko's. Despite that he was struggling to make money so decided to cheat and use rigged decks, I wonder if tikay ever went there.
