Designated Survivor season 2 on netflix. Bit of a guilty pleasure of mine!

Did you not get fed up with the complete improbability of so many of the story lines, Kiefer's pathetically liberal portrayal and extremely narrow emotional range - he musta pulled the same 'oh man, i'm in a bind, but I'm so liberal and fair I'll find a solution' face a million times. Rest of the cast pretty shite too tbf :-) I've seen West Wing and Desi Surviv, you're no West Wing.

On a more positive note - sure someone mentioned Halt and Catch Fire a while ago, not the best thing I've ever seen but pretty interesting from a historical, how times have changed perspective. Watchable anyhoo.

Anyone seen Suburra a Netflix original series? Politics and gangster mix based in Rome. First episode probably the weakest but stay with it, it’s certainly worth it.

I agree. Normally takes me a while to watch a full series but I blasted through it.

If you are interested in psychology/criminology then, boy, are you going to love Mindhunter.

Really liked the first hour, can't wait to watch it unfold.

Anybody else watching The Deuce?

I started watching it due to it's connections with The Wire.  We're four episodes in now and I'm enjoying it immensely.  It's very unhurried in it's plot development, so may be a little slow for some, but pretty much every character is a potential car crash waiting to happen (not surprising given that it's set within the NYC pimps and prostitutes and the burgeoning early 70s porn industry).

So far, so good, but have been a bit surprised that no-one has mentioned it on here since it started.

Got it recorded and waiting on the ol Sky Plus based purely on it being David Simon being involved. Think I might get started after I've binged (the great so far) Mindhunters

Must admit it's a bit of a novelty watching something one episode at a time, on a weekly basis from the beginning.  (GoT new episodes are like that, but I'd binge watched 4 series initially before getting caught up).

It's making up for the overall disappointment of Tin Star, which was enjoyable in a mindless way, but ultimately throw-away stuff.
