Quite suprised with all the anti Dexter.  OK, it's not brilliant but it's certainly watchable if you're short of programs to watch.

Watched "Life on Mars" for the first time on Netflix...

After being involved in a car accident in 2006, DCI Sam Tyler (Simm) wakes up to find himself in 1973, the era of 'Sweeney' type policing, Mark III Cortinas, and flared trousers.

If you haven't seen it, it's amazing...

Better late than never Cheesy

Never really got a chance to watch TV during those years... It's Excellent Excellent just Excellent... Gene Hunt is an absolute hero...

Jack Regan > Gene Hunt

"I sometimes hate this bastard place! It's a bloody holiday camp for thieves and weirdos - all the rubbish. You age prematurely trying to sort some of them out. Try and protect the public, and all they do is call you fascist. You nail a villain and some ponced-up pinstripe Hampstead barrister screws it up like an old fag-packet on a point of procedure, then pops off for a game of squash and a glass of madeira. He's taking home thirty grand a year, and we can just about afford ten days in Eastbourne and a second-hand car. It's all bloody wrong, my son."

Hahahaha Brilliant

We need more Gene Hunts and less liberals that don't make arrests in fear of offending certain ethnic or social groups...

Incidentally the earnings of a criminal barrister haven't gone up since the 80's, so now it's the police officers that are playing squash and drinking madeira while the barristers are living in ..... ...... (purposely left that blank) and having 10 days in Eastbourne if they're lucky... How things change..

Sons hasn't reached the heights of last season yet, but has been very good.

BE I hope is taking the same path as last season as it's been a little slow again so far.

Called it in, great episode this week.

Getting into The Sopranos now, only 4 episodes into the first season. Building nice and slowly but keeping me engaged throughout, which is so tough to do when going slow, so easy to lose the audience.

Does it let up at all until the end? Do any of the seasons go on dips? I think I will be seeing this one through until the end.
