I started the Sopranos yesterday, so fully expect no posts from me for a few weeks, followed by a massive review of why anyone who hasn't seen the Sopranos is an idiot and why I think everyone should listen to me about a show I am 15 years late watching.

Enjoy!

I watched a tribute to James Gandolfini yesterday, and I'm not ashamed to say it had me pretty choked up.

Still Open All Hours is on BBC tonight with a returning David Jason.

Terrible, IMO of course. Missed Ronnie so much and David, really, retire gracefully or at least don't churn this crap out.

I actually really liked the idea, it seemed right that Granville would become Arkwright, but yeah it was shit.

Sherlock is back on Wednesday.

Did I mention that already?

Really?

Ok. Well Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe is back soon, too.

Anyone watching Banshee Season 1 (No spoilers please for those that have done the lot)?

It is the stupidest show ever. Literally every episode = criminal breaks the law - Sheriff roughs them up without doing any investigation - Sheriff has sex with random hot woman - Sheriff beats the criminals up again - end.

I really like it though, as far as stupid goes it's lots of fun.

I agree Banshee was so redic but compelling to watch. Roll on season 2.

Just about to finish SoA season 1. I am enjoying it but after every episode I feel like there's something missing. Also hate the way each episode ends.

Just watched the last couple of episodes of Mad Dogs.

Rather a let down, cop out damp squib finish, I thought.

I've not seen them yet but I fear this.  It's about time they finished it though.

I've not seen any of it yet, but had been intending to at some point, so appreciate the vagueness of your post Wink

they died on the beech, it was a kinda surreal look back at their lives as they went off the cliff moment.
