Yeah, off the top of my head. better than breaking bad drama series list = the wire, the shield, sopranos, game of thrones, walking dead, Boardwalk empire, 24, Dexter, The Newsroom. Probs loads which I've forgotten but you get the gist.

Still never watched Friday night lights. Everyone always tells me it's class.

The thing with 24 is partly (IMO) down to the fact that there wasn't other programs like that back then.  It was the first program that I can recall in this format.  If it was released now I'd probably agree as there is lots of other choice, but back then it really was epic.

All those years ago in 2001 lol

Funny that I've seen the multi screen, ticking timer, bing bong tune parodied that many times on things like Simpsons and family guy, it seems really familiar Smiley

Me and SaraM chucking to ourselves "he's in on it"..."she's de finely in on it".
And all these time references get a chuckle too.

"I'll be there in 10 minutes" (cut to commercial)
"He'll be awake in 30 minutes" (in time for the end on the episode)
"You have me for 24 hours" (the whole season then...oh, tricked us, you're dead)

We only recently binge watched Breaking Bad right through and I think TV is ruined.

24 is enjoyable enough so far, but it's no BB

Finished BB not long ago. V v v enjoyable.... After season 2! Very odd flashes of brilliance before then but too few and far between. Not all everyone made it out to be for me. Still liked it though but really had to persevere.

I would like to thank whoever recommended Borgen ( probably redarmi ). Really enjoying it, West Wing meets Romano Criminale with hot women in it too.

hector, have you watched "TheBridge" too?

More excellent Scandi drama

I love Borgen too. great scripts. Like a wetter West Wing.

The Bridge is on my list. By mistake I watched the American version- a total pile of pants.

Just finished House of Cards in 9 days. Really fantastic stuff, great if you are missing Breaking Bad and looking for an anti hero. Manages to be easy to follow despite the complex political background and some really shocking twists throughout.

Finished this today too. Thoroughly enjoyable. Season 2 started with a bang and kept it up pretty much all the way through.

Don't really get all the hype about HOC, thought the 1st season was better, it's worth a watch, that's it for me though.

Similar for me. Definitely worth watching but far from essential viewing.
